Cassie Iscariot from Swan Boy eating her sixteenth philly cheesteak. This was promised as a birthday gift but its so late I'm too ashamed to say who :0

Liberty Balboa from Oh These Those Stars Of Space has a background cameo because I love that lil guy

Blood-frenzy hangover

Bat Child from City Council Of Darkness feeling a little bow-ted, also this time I drew her canonical white pigtails and also I slapped a bunch of red marker all over her fir blood. Markers are fun! They're like a multiply shader irl!

The longest Twitter conversation I ever had was with a guy who was mad that the sjws had got this McDonalds ad taken down and would just bob and weave and not no matter what learn what Bloody Sunday was no matter how I tried to explain it

In the Grim Darkness of being a very rusty kink artist, there is only endless attempts to recreate the magic of KawaiiDebu's "sweater weather" comic.

Comic where a space marine opens up her power armour revealing a slight, scrawny body with a prominent pot belly. She realises she's been gaining weight from eating her enemies on the battlefield and says "lol"

Natasha: I don't like that AI Dara center dey built outside a' tin. It's ugly, it's noisy, it hasn't created and bew jobs. Plus I gotta suspicion it might be makin' da drinkin' water unsafe
Sam (looking up from a water fountain sporting extra arms, fingers and nostrils - also his speech bubble isn't coming from him): It does taste a lil... I dunno... Sloppier?

I played through Mario & Rabbids: Sparks Of Hope and I think that one character's called 'Edge' because it keeps seeming like her relationship with this fucker was going to be fleshed out into something gayer then never is.

Midnite and Edge from Mario & Rabbids, smirking at each other like enemies being pals.

Show me a comic you loved when you were 13, that's all I need to know about you. So if this was younger than 13 and it'd be Sonic The Comic or The Beano, older it would be Johnny The Homicidal Maniac or The Maxx. But it had to be '13' so 😬

The Yahtzee Takes On The World comic where they meet a recurring villain who is a "pssudo-anime chick" I think it was my first introduction to the word anime and the word pseudo

The last thing i worked on was, of course, Sapphy The Sailor Gal - a lil platformer with Shantae inspired NPC-talkin'. You can play it on PC -- ehcb.itch.io/sapphy -- or on mobile (-- play.google.com/store/apps/d... --)! if you want to!!

Something I forgot - me and @grimimic.bsky.social were in the very early stages of designing a #cardgame about trick-or-treating goblins and I learnt a lil' bit of #TableTopSimulator scripting to make a prototype. Would love to come back to this when in my new place with more voicechatting time

The coolest thing about 'Splorp' was I got to do silly live-action FMV stuff, which had been on my gamedev bucket list for a while #gamedev #indiedev #fmv

Oh I'm silly - I did TWO gamejams this year. The first resulted in this zany Carmen Sandiego clone. I made some bad early decisions with how I put it together that's making it challenging to get it over the hump to version 1.0 but there's still fun to be had in it's current state

Here's an Eating Challenge Streamer-themed match3 that imo has a lot of promise, I probably need to drop the webpage gimmick and make better use of the screen real estate tho #pico8 #gamedev #bellystuffing

My 2025 in gamedev: Only one real release + Every unfinished 2024 project still unfinished + two abortive attempts to start my ""dream game"" in two different engines + lots of fucking around in stuff like Pico8 which HAS increased my coding toolset despite not getting me any sexy internet glory 😔
