wanted to repost something about Okamoto's 1968 satirical chanbara film "Kill!" / 斬る so i remember to watch it but there's basically nothing about it on here will update if good jidaigeki

A theatrical release press poster for the 1968 film "Kill!" with the title written vertically in red font from the top right corner down to the middle of the image as 斬る (read as "kiru" meaning to kill another with a blade/sword).

A man stands at the bottom left of the image, dressed in traditional Japanese wear brandishing a sword. More traditionally dressed men fight behind him.

Three headshots (left to right: a man, woman and man) of people in traditional Japanese dress are at the top left of the image and the entire image is backgrounded by a white sky, and a jagged hilly horizon.

Multiple instances of Japanese text are present in smaller + different fonts than the title across the left and right sides of the image with music notation framing the top right corner, which holds a circle with kanji in it.
