I always say i never had any cause for "me too" with women, but I suspect there might have been a lot of "why nots".

Do you think it is more likely that your life will end with murder or because the institutions you depend to sustain modern life collapse due to fascism, nuclear war, plague, AI etc.?

It's not that AI is anything but an LLM; it's most of what we think of intelligence in ourselves (and fellow human beings) is no different than LLM output. We are unique, but don't know what is unique about us. (E.G. in my field of pharmacy, it's hard to know what uniquely a retail pharmacist does.)

But I think it gives me the opening to ditch AI and call them super predictors of algorithmic maximization.

Doesn't it seem that Ed Sheeran having to cancel both his concerts at Kraft owned Gilette Stadium mean that the universe has a perverse, perhaps joyous, sense of humor?

We, as a society, have somehow decided that accountability is optional.

Do that as a pharmacist on the graveyard shift (not the nose,on the forehead) and even a small amount of blood is very embarassing.

"It's the hope that kills you." Keep on hearing that phrase popularized by Ted Lasso over and over in my head.

Do you really believe that or is it cope. Either way, you're wrong.

Why does trust law no hold the trustees responsible? If they are violating their fiduciary responsibility, aren't they personally liable (or their insurance).

Since there is a greater than 3% chance of outright election fraud by the GOP or a coup (auto-coup?), this model is too optimistic.

2/2 With all due respect just kidding. Could not resist, but also am wondering if you really think this is the best use of your time? (referring to the request and not your work)

1/2 Hi. I'm a random bluesky user. Wondering how it feels to be working for a compromised media outlet. What stories get ok'd and which stories are spiked? Does the political censorship at the top reach every story or is it selective? Deeply personal takes are appreciated. Please get in touch!

Summarizing for myself. Nazis are less funny when they are actually you're next door neighbors and killing people. Maher missed that shift. College audiences haven't had the luxury of knowing anything else.

Vaccination is scientifically proven. Better health for the individual AND for the public. Cheaper than treating. Only ignorant or stupid people oppose vaccination. Of course, need regulation create, administer, and monitor safe and effective shots. Why is there opposition to this no-brainer? SASQ

No. I held my tongue. I saw what was happening. I did not wa t to go through the wringer. Also, holding multiple professional licenses mean that a coordinated attack could result in serious negative consequences that would be non-judiciable.

Navel gazing. I weep for my country and the world. We may not have the means to make it heaven on earth for everyone, but we could eliminate hell on earth for all if only so many of my fellow inhabitants weren't sick f*cks.

mRNA predates pee by a long shot, predates DNA, maybe even predates life. I think that it's the kind of person who believes the Western Hemisphere popped into existence when Columbus discovered it.

It's funny the one who has to face the electorate gets the permission slip while the ones who have no electoral prospects at all; Cassidy, Conryn, and Tillis; will vote for Blanche. What do they get out of it?

OK. I think thus is like arguing with table (if you get the barney frank reference) but all of those numbers show a VE that is positive for the populations you are stating it is not effective. Instead of referencing pages in the document, please state specifically what you are trying to say.

The fact that lying is rarely a criminal offense and even civilly has a very low likelihood of yielding any accountability (because of lack of provable causation or because of cost/benefit) is a refuge to con artists, grifters, and cheats.

While Blanche claims the settlement is dead, Trump spent the weekend making it clear it's totally alive. He's fighting for it in court and on social media. And Blanche's document only rescinds the order officially setting up the fund. It doesn't change the settlement itself.

Worse than that. It's a violation of every bar's code of conduct. Sanctions up to and incuding disbarment would be imposed if there was going to be accountability.

SPAIN. No question who wins today. Argentina is favored by Trump due to its right wing fascist leader. Spain is hated because it's leader is clear that Trump is an authoritarian fascist. Trump will be in attendance. Spain is guaranteed.
