For the record, I didn’t like the guy and his policies. He was a hypocrite like most politicians. Yet, he is dead. Finding exactly how he died does not matter. That is a wrong, and in my opinion, petty thing to focus on.

I am not sure how I feel about older men dying their hair to look their natural color. There are a few who can pull that off, but for others, it just does not look natural and screems to me “I WANT TO REMAIN HIP!!!”. And I know women have done it for centuries.

My biggest pet peeve about tipping is not the regular restaurants where the server actually takes & delivers your order, but all the other,what I would call them, gourmet fast food places, where sometimes you even place the order at an electronic kiosk, pay for your food, AND TIP before it is served

After having a few cats and dogs throughout my life now, I know it’s impossible not to think about how they will leave us sooner than we’d like. But when that happens, I just go and pet them to enjoy them now, so I don’t have any regrets that I didn’t do that enough while they were with us.

We have three more cats and two dogs remaining in our household. We still miss our favorite kitty, but we still need to attend to the remaining animals. The dogs don’t seem to be affected, but the dynamics between the cats have changed. One of the remaining cats is a sister of the kitty that passed.

We lost our favorite cat a couple of days ago, and it is still hard to cope. However, Sofija made a great point about it. It is supposed to be hard if you had any kind of affection for your beloved pet. And if you didn't, why bother having a pet. She is right!

Technically, you are right, but I think you are picking on semantics here. My main point was about advocating for voter suppression. I don’t like what’s happening in politics lately, but I am against voter suppression regardless of whether I like the outcome. Outcome is not the cause, but a symptom

I agree, and I considered calling out the OP on this point as well. That’s most likely how well-meaning heads of state ended up becoming dictators: they assumed or were convinced they knew better than others for the state and began oppressing their critics.

What you are suggesting has happened many times in history, when well-meaning heads of state set out to implement reforms aimed at helping the country in all earnest, but eventually led to autocracy and dictatorship, oppressing and suppressing the voices of opposition.
