Having a nice digital camera means that you can take tremendously silly photos of your dog that still have a strange air of gravitas. #photo #photography #dog #dslr

I thoroughly don't understand why people use LLMs to generate their LinkedIn posts... What's the goal? They have to know that readers can tell, right? Why would someone read or engage with something an algorithm wrote? But... then again... this is the post that inspired this complaint...

Other People on LinkedIn: "Here is my well-considered think piece, demonstrating my prowess in this sector." Me: "I GREW A TOMATO AND HAD A SANDWICH!"
Screenshot of a LinkedIn post from Elise Hunley, where she states:

"I'm proud to announce that I've already met one of my KPI targets for Q3.

My target was to grow no fewer than one (1) tomato and consume no fewer than one (1) tomato sandwich.

And only 9 days in Q3, that target was met!"

Below that text, are two images. One is of a woman holding a small, beefsteak tomato. The second image is of a woman gesturing happily at a tomato sandwich.

This is my other favorite photo for similar reasons, but also this is Rex, and he is one of my Favorites at the market. He always comes by the info booth to ask for treats.
Rex is a hound mix of sorts, and the picture is of him sweetly taking a treat from my hand

Took pictures of some dogs at the farmers market again this morning, and this is my favorite. Partly because it’s an adorable shot. But *mostly* because I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO GET ALL OF THE CRITICAL FEATURES OF THE PUP IN FOCUS FOR ONCE?!

Look, I haven't read the article yet, but embedding AI engineers *inside* customers feels like some Alien-level shenanigans that might not go over so well with customers. (Linking the article given that I'm making a joke at it's expense: www.geekwire.com/2026/microso...)

These posts were also wildly helpful for me, so adding my own. On the left, age 34 — just 2 months after my egg crack, and on the right, 36, a year into HRT. One of these people is much happier and more settled in who they are. I'll let you guess who.
A picture of the same person at two points in time. On the left, the image is labeled 2024. The person has masculine glasses, close-cut hair, a trimmed beard, and a button-up shirt. You can see the person is wearing earrings.

The image on the right is labeled 2026. The person now beardless, wearing cute, feminine glasses, has trans pride earrings, and she is wearing a floral necklace. She has a black cami on with a striped, short-sleeve button up. Her hair is now much longer and somewhat curly.
