This is limiting free speech and breaking the constitution. This should be a disqualifying event for a Governor candidate. This should be spread all over the internet and highlight how the GOP is limiting all of our freedoms.

I’ve noticed very few politicians on either side of the isle are talking about getting money out of politics. Outlaw gerrymandering, overturn citizen united, limit all campaign money and give true power back to the people.

I wish I could say the sway in voting to the Dem side was because of their ideas and plans once they gain control. Unfortunately many in the Dem leadership are only banking on just not being tied to Trump instead. If Dems want to stay in power big changes are needed in all of politics.

At the federal and state level they crush labor at every turn as well. In WI act 10 passed in 2011 is still affecting every sector of public work in a negative way. Unless the Dems control one branch of government come November a unified GOP will enact further and anti-labor legislation.

Many ppl will not be ok with paying more for healthcare and having their employer make out better which is cited at 2.3% in the study. My guess is a lot of working people paying 5% income tax above 30k is more than they currently pay. Plus the wealthy get around income tax too easily

I viewed Bill Maher interview with JD Vance. I do give Repubs credit for doing interviews unlike many Dems. It’s interesting JD said the concern with the 2020 election was the censoring by social media of the GOP ideas and not conceding the results. What I remember is lies were censored not ideas

I hope the financial system changes for MLB and will make some of what the Brewers are trying increase their chances for a WS. Until then, I think they just have to hope that they get hot at the right time and over perform to win that WS. Right now even if they had Skubal it would be difficult.

Of course Skubal would help any team. Giving up top prospects for a short term rental without addressing the batting issues they still have isn’t enough to tip the Crews chances at a WS enough in my opinion. Last seasons playoffs against LA Crew scored 1 run per game. Skubal won’t change that.

I even think back to the playoffs last year against the Dodgers. The Brewers got swept because they couldn’t score runs not because of pitching. The pitching was good enough to win a game or two at least. The Brewers scored a total of 4 runs in 4 games. Skubal wouldn’t fix that.

I think the brewers are more than a Skubal type of player away from being a WS team. Their batting is struggling and is inconsistent. Yesterday was a good example of that. At one point the padres walked Chourio to load the bases and pitched to Turang to get out of the inning.

Although he lies and constantly fails to live up to promises he has hit on the pulse of angry and disenfranchised voters. Much better than Dems have and that is the one lesson Trump has given to the Dems. That’s about all the positive I can think of.

I listened to him on a Jon Stewart podcast and he is certainly no Repub What I dislike is how negative his talk is about fellow Dems which is detrimental to the party. I’m so tired of the negativity and lack of empathy in politics. I can’t figure out how this is generally acceptable in society now.

Bernie won in WI in a presidential primary so supporting someone with some of these views does not surprise me. I don’t think ppl want extreme views which single out a small issue to use as a rallying cry and campaign point of emphasis. Stick to populous ideas and working class issues

There is a lot of bias out there that puts ppl in positive and negative situations. I work with many different groups of ppl and see how they look, dress, and behave that creates bias. Looking beyond that is difficult for many but if you’re able to there are a lot of ppl that may surprise you.

Over the remaining season I will be curious if attendance is even affected. My guess is it won’t matter because ppl just want to be entertained. The team and players won’t even lose sponsorships. Morality goes out of the door when money is involved.

This is a repeated pattern throughout the country. Act 10 in WI enacted in 2011 decimated all public workers and declined all aspects of public service. Many of these jobs are hard to fill now because of the losses sustained. The voting public in part did not care because of a possible tax break.

Dems need to start playing the game like the GOP does. Don’t like something, change the rules. GOP stole seats on the Supreme Court we should return the favor throughout the judicial, and legislative branches. A good number of don’t even care if it’s moral or legal as long as they get results now.

This is true for two main reasons. The voters are never given a choice to take from the wealthy to help out the other 90% and secondly ppl still believe in trickle down economy where the rich are the job creators. A huge lack of empathy amongst people allow to take from the disadvantaged.

I’ve heard that 70% of the voters want some form of ID to vote. Perhaps there is a compromise to be had. Gov pays for all IDs to all registered voters in exchange to make Gerrymandering illegal etc..? If a percentage of Dem voters also want this maybe they can take advantage of it.

I hold little faith in polls anymore since Hillary was supposed to win in a landslide but only won the popular vote. Every time I read anything about ratings or polls, I think back to how wrong they were then and the consequences since.
