Forgive me - the title is usually plural, too related to acoustics, and even more boring ("Reflections", "Waves"), and there's also the obligatory 10 pages of composer-written program notes saying "this piece was CLEARLY inspired by my loving grandfather who tripped and died at the Indy 500 in 1971"
