I do miss Ty, it's been a few years at this point! The original intent of trainer interviews was to draw the npc trainers that didn't get the spotlight otherwise, but I guess I've done most of the ones I liked and it would be a nice excuse to bring Ty back

I don't know about a tutorial, but I use a wet brush with hard edges set on a bigger brush size! You don't want to depict every individual hair, the idea is to capture the direction of it and suggest the rest through strays. Also a 2nd layer with darker color airbrushed over it to suggest thickness!
