This week on #52AlbumsFor2026 we've got the soundtrack to the Coen brothers' Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Fascinating to learn that this soundtrack was vastly more successful than the film it was written for. Even won the Grammy for Best Album of the Year. Wild!

Welcome back to #52AlbumsFor2026! Week 35 brings us Ween's White Pepper. It may be heretical to say this, but I think I prefer the band's Elektra Records output to their earlier stuff. And do mine ears detect a hint of Beatles in this record, perchance?

Welcome back to #52AlbbumsFor2026. This week we've got Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life. I can't believe Stevie Wonder ripped off Amish Paradise. I wonder if Coolio knows about this.

This week's #52AlbumsFor2026 is Operation Ivy's lone studio album, Energy. I have long thought I could become a Ska Guy, anmd this seems as good a place to start as any.

The beautiful thing about David Byrne is that he never looks *psyched* to be a freak. He always looks vaguely confused that a bunch of people have shown up to watch him put in his eight hours at the Freak Factory.

This week on #52AlbumsFor2026... was there really any other option? Part of the impetus for this project was wanting to have listened to more new albums than just the new Deltarune soundtrack. But like... I'm not gonna *not* listen to the new Deltarune soundtrack...

Time for an extremely late #52AlbumsFor2026. I was excited to discover that Penelope Scott's got a new album out called Fear of God. Didn't quite grab me like Public Void did but it's still a good time!

A little late but here's the week's #52AlbumsFor2026 Came across the revelation that I had seemingly somehow never listened to a single full album from 1998, so now I have remedied this.

You thought I would forget about #52AlbumsFor2026? You FOOL? This week we've got It's Sorted by Cheekface. Stumbled on these guys at random, they got a cool TMBG-esque sound. Plus they turned down AT&T money over their ICE connections, which is pretty baller.
