As a novice, Dorian's known to make some silly mistakes. Like, for example, letting go of some air and assuming it'll make him hold easier! #aquaphilia #hypoxia #drowning #uwart #asphyxi #breathplay #furryart

Dorian laying on his back underwater on a soft surface, casually bubbling out a lot of air.

Still laying there, now with his lungs empty and his chest somewhat sucked in.

The consequences of his actions. Dorian's eyes are widened with a look of slight panic, while he suddenly begins contracting HARD.

I just recently started a new ttrpg campaign, and I've been kiiiind of brainrotting over my pc for it. His name is Dorian, and he's a budding plant magician! (Don't worry, I'll water him soon enough~) #nsfwart #furryart #nsfwbsky

"Uuuuuhhhh... hey..! Heheh.."
POV of walking in on Dorian while he's using his magic to get in a little goon session. He's hanging upside down by vines around his limbs, torso, and bulge through his pants, and he's nervously smiling at the camera with hot air coming out of his mouth.

(CW// Objectum) SINKTEMBER 2026 Week 2/Day 17- Treasure. A sign THAT deep underwater sure is a lucky find! #uwart #aquaphilia #drowning #uwperil #asphyxi #breathplay #objectum #sinktember2026

"Hey, everyone! Check out this sign I found! Wouldn't it just be perfect for the center of town?"
"I don't know... Doesn't it look a little... Waterlogged?"
"Oh, come on, it's a sign! It's not like he can drown or anything!"

The jellyfish, Jasper, pulling Tip along the ocean floor, not quite able to get him out of the groround. Jasper is VERY excited about their find, not noticing that Tip is actively drowning, hiccuping and sucking in water.

A sketch of Thoryn, pinned underwater by their wrists, with a hand on their waist. Their eyes are wide, tunic flowing up, and they're bubbling out of their nose. Their face is blushing BRIGHT blue.

(CW//Objectum) Ssso. Idk how much y'all know about Endacopia, but. I may or may not REALLY like Tip. The jellyfolk is mostly just a random design but I may or may not make them into a proper oc #nsfwbsky #asphyxi #objectum #aquaphilia #drowning #uwart #breathplay

"Woah, I didn't know they put talking signs down here..!"

Tip, the sign from Endacopia, shivering underwater while struggling to hold his breath. A curious jellyfish creature floats over to inspect him.

"I wonder what kind of paper this is..."

Two of the jellyfish's tentacles wrapped around Tip, one on the underside of his face, with the other curiously prodding under the paper on the front of his board. Tip's eyes are wide, and he shudders even harder, unable to keep himself from bubbling out in surprise at the sensation of the underside of his paper being touched.

Remember when I mentioned the sidequest? Well, here's what I was cooking up! Friendly reminder that pokeballs keep your Pokemon at a stable health so it's perfectly safe to keep your Audino in a dive ball. Don't worry they're having fun #aquaphilia #drowning #asphyxia #breathplay #pokemon #nsfwart

An audino at the bottom of a dive ball, dizzy and drowned with a bubble of their air stuck at the top of the ball. They have a hand on the ball, one hand on their VERY full chest, with both of their feet also pressed against the ball. Their eyes are tired and swirling, and they are visibly VERY aroused. They've probably been in there for a good few hours already.

A drawing of Sozo, an ant, sinking in a trippy, psychedelic environment, while drowning. Fun fact, this was inspired by a line of flavor text you can find if you read his mind after you bring him back, in which he likens his OD to the feeling of drowning.

"Still no sign of them!"
"Should we give it up?"
"Oh, come on. Just WAIT. They have to come up EVENTUALLY, after all.."
(Gods DAMN IT.)

Thoryn hiding under a dock, clinging to one of the supports, while using their other hand to hold their face. Despite shivering so hard from the contractions, they're determined to stay down and ignore their body's various warnings. Even if their thighs being pressed together indicates a slightly different need.

The results are finally in!! I want to give a MASSIVE thank-you to everyone who participated in the survey!! This has been such a blast, and it's been so cool seeing how diverse of a community this is! #aquaphilia (1/2)

SURVEY RESULTS:
78.2% of participants reported being aged 18 to 29, while the rest were 30 and older.
54.1% of participants reported being cis men, with 13% enby, 10.4% transfem, 1.5% transmasc, 3.1% cis women, 6.3% genderfluid, and 11.6% other.
Sexual orientation was a shockingly even split, with 23.7% bisexual, 20.8% pansexual, 14% straight, 10.6% asexual, 7.6% bicurious, 4.7% homosexual, and a whopping 18% other.
As for furry identification, 55.2% of participants identified as furries, whereas 44.8% did not.
The top 5 most popular themes/tropes in the community are OCs, oceans, non-extreme breathplay, underwater caves, and freshwater settings. The top 5 most controversial themes/tropes are farting, ferals, objects, water vomit, and mud/quicksand.
Other common preferences include female subjects, feet, breast focus, willing subjects, surface teasing, praise, panic, and bondage.

The most popular body type for subjects is humans and anthros, whereas the least popular is ferals and objects. As for source, people tend to prefer OCs over fandom characters.

The most popular setting was reported as oceans, while the least popular was sunken vehicles. When considering alternatives to conventional settings, water bubbles were reported as the most popular, then breathable water, then other liquids (such as slime, potions, alcohol, poison, etc), and finally, quicksand/mud.
Note: While drawing the graphic for this page, I realized how much of a nightmare cars are to draw. I see why artists may not prefer sunken vehicles.

Seth (a human) and Tom (a lobster merman) a good ways beneath the surface of the water. The survey currently sits at 105 responses and counting. There isn't a deadline I have planned for this survey, so I'll just wait until the responses slow down to do any of the actual tests. I'll be checking back periodically throughout the next few days to know when that is
