Why go help Russia as a Pole? It doesn’t make sense unless you want to hand over the keys.

Traitor to Europe and Traitor to Germany. Her policies like Le Pen, will in the end only benefit herself, a small circle of “friends” and massively hurt the European Union.

But Sofia has pro-Russian regime, so it is acceptable. Question will be what Turkey does?? Guess nothing because they have benefitted massively from Russia since start of the war!!

No, I think immigration can degrade quality of life, but it also have the possibility to do the opposite, but that is the possibilities that lay in it, a matter of good public policies. A net benefit. Regarding Orban, any other opponent or a divided opposition and he would have won again.

Well. Depends on where you are? Denmark has experienced quite a large migration over the past 25 years, which has made the country much richer than it could have been, same for Norway. It can’t be said the same about a lot of other countries, the question is why?…

eg2602.bsky.social @eg2602.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
It was door to door and hard work on joining the opposition and convincing people that Orban was massively corrupt and Hungary headed the wrong way. That did not happen by people seeing the alliance with Russia. And well yes it did, but very strong work by Magyar and the people around him.

eg2602.bsky.social @eg2602.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
I fully agree on what Magyar and Orban, was/is. I just think your conclusion on what brought him down is wrong. It was first time with an opposition that was joined and an extremely strong grassroots movement. How many parties could be voted on? How much mediatime did Magyar get?

I don’t agree on that.,I don’t think immigration or necessary illegal immigration has to degrade quality of life. It is a choice by employers. And for Victor Orban, it was not his alliance with Russia that bought him down, but for once a strong opposition leader that joined the

AfD offer easy solutions to complex problems which current governments seem incapable of handling or even acknowledge. The main theme, employment, but no real wage development and a future without prospects. That is what neo-liberalism offers a very large group.

You are right, it is not good or bad people, it need to be a focus against corrupt forces and I would also say a billionaire class, that has now reached a level,,where it can be discussed if they actually suppress the masses.

All that said, the same could happen even in Denmark and something similar will most likely happen next year in France, which will effectively kill EU decision power. Mainly I can see why change is demanded, which is a global fight for all democracies.

eg2602.bsky.social @eg2602.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Which is actually my point, I’m annoyed and disappointed in the choice of the US population in 2024, but outraged by Trumps unhinged behaviour and threats towards allies. I also know that most US citizens don’t share Trumps opinions and fight against them and I do see change happening.

But I still trust in the US political system and have great expectations for the midterms. Do I sometimes fail to distinguish between US- Government and population, I hope not and I don’t wish planes to fall out of the sky or anything else happening to US citizens.

Especially seeing a former close ally suddenly taking the side of what is the enemy and threatening my country. We prepared for a hot welcome in Greenland. The public discord toward US and US citizens has been hard ever since.

Thank you for all the good work Prune and yes I too started following you on X when no-one else did updates on Russian economy or just repeated the Russian narrative. Being danish it is very hard not to blame the US population for their choice of Trump and cronies.

Unfortunately the risk will only grow with Le Pen winning in France next year, I don’t see any other outcome. As long as the crazy propaganda is allowed and too many people believe in them and don’t trust the system, the crazy will win. Not to mention actual failings of established parties.
