I actually quite like American primaries. It gets your whole voting block to think of themselves as party members/affiliates & gives them power for it. Compare them to the Tory primaries they held post Boris; There’s just no question that our system is more democratic (and often better for it!)

Hard Disagree. Seeing $4 gas at the gas stations nearest the Beaumont/Houston refineries when we are used to $1.8-2.2 will break East Texans' minds. Us younger generations have never seen prices that high. I doubt the bonuses from the windfall will make up for it.
