Not quite sure how to best use alt text on these types of drawings, but I am enjoying to challenge of trying my best. #drawing #art

Abstract cartoon ink drawing. Simple patterns and shapes in black are found within larger, mostly curved shapes outlined in blue on top of a white background. There are several faces of humans and creatures, maybe a lizard, or a bird, or a dragon. One human is crying on the bottom right corner another is being told to ‘shhhhhhh’. Most of these details would go unnoticed at first glance. There is a sense of calm sadness. It is almost like a stained glass window depicting some event that holds significance, but the details are unknown to the viewer.

Me and the boss

A long haired white male with stubble looks quizzically into the camera while a tabby cat is stretched out on a table just behind him. The cat is also looking at the camera but is more peeved that this human woke him up from his daily sunbathing to put this phone in front of his face again.

Inspired by everyone else sharing their art so here is a drawing I made earlier this year. I’ve been in a creative slumber of sorts recently, and hopefully hanging around here will reignite the spark.

A whimsical abstract ink drawing of a cartoon figure. Lot’s of curved lines that look like fingers and intestines and maybe even lips. There appear to be three legs and one giant round eyeball. If this is a monster, it’s not the kind that is meant to scare you, but more to entertain and play the kazoo.

Hi, I’m John. Been lurking for months and figured it was time for my first post. And what a post it is! This is Robert. He’s a cat.

Tabby cat named Robert laying on a chair. He is partially on his side and a little bit of his belly is exposed. He is resting his head on the chair while looking up at the camera with his green eyes. He wants the photographer to stop taking pictures and play with him.
