Kissed Microsoft goodbye four years ago. I use a free Linux version that boots from USB, runs in RAM, is fast and very secure. Works on many older computers and does everything I require in a daily driver. You can put your whole system in your pocket and run it on another computer. Works for me.

Taking testosterone typically lowers sperm count, makes it less likely you will sire children. Maybe a bit like the unsullied in Game of Thrones?

There was a small flock, so I think they are on their way. I'm in Ontario, you know, that province on the north shore of Lake Ontario.

What do you think they have in mind? They don't need those for Gaza. Trump likely is happy to delegate Israel to wage war on Iran. I think that is the game plan.

I've posted this one before, but I have always thought this is the most pissed off bird I have photographed. I am guessing the fish got away, as it returned to the nest with empty talons. Bald Eagle

It's been done as a TV series. "Person of Interest". There are no new ideas, only copycats of SciFi that's been on TV or in the movies.

"Convenience" features make cars less safe, e.g. the "auto lights" setting that doesn't turn on lights in poor visibility but high ambient light (daylight fog, blowing snow) which leaves cars with no rear lights, illegal, and vulnerable to rear end collisions. Turn your lights on in fog!

Hummingbirds like to guard their favourite feeders. Fights are pretty common! My friend has multiple feeders at her cottage in Northern Ontario, and a lot of birds every year. If the feeders are empty, they get in her face and "buzz" her, to let her know!

Well, 15 of the terrorists in the 9/11 attacks were Saudi citizens, just saying. Nobody from Iran, but 2 from the UAE, one from Egypt, one from Lebanon. So let's make sure Iran doesn't get nukes, but Saudi, why not? Of course, the only nation that has ever used them in war is the good old U.S.A.

The man has no concept of what Canada is, and how vast the Boreal forest is. If he recruited every single man in his military for the job, they would not be equal to the task of "debris removal". It isn't one of his golf courses! Uneducated fool!

Guess they have the same short term memory about Canada helping California with its fires as they do about NATO helping the States after 9/11. They also haven't a clue about the extent of the boreal forest up here. We can't just drive to every wildfire location and start fighting it!

What should be done with Stornoway is give it to the Prime Minister for temporary lodging until the official residence is renovated or replaced. After that, the need for a residence for the opposition leader could be revisited. At least that might shut up the current occupant!

Evidence to back what up? You are far less likely to kill someone with a bike, obviously. How many of your 617 people were cyclists? Just curious. Also, you stipulate car drivers. Excluding trucks? Modern trucks are a huge hazard to pedestrians because of the high hoods/blind spots/impact zone.

You had to be there, LOL. Seriously, it is very much a problem in my area. Motorists are not perfect, but here they are more respectful of pedestrians than the average cyclist. There is also an increasing problem with ebikes and scooters (illegal here). The bad ones spoil it for the rest of us.

I have the evidence of my own eyes and lived experience. Hard to misinterpret someone blowing through a stop sign or riding against traffic, a daily occurrence here, not to mention being clipped by one while walking. Your mileage may vary, I speak of what I see in this area of the province.

Observation prompted my answer. I see cyclists riding against traffic often, not to mention blowing through stop signs. I'm a cyclist myself, as well as a driver and pedestrian. Where I live the cyclists are the most likely to be at fault. They often take chances with their own and others safety.
