@nyanzak.uk, a community manager for teamwork.tf, wrote that teamwork.tf is no longer able to track data for official Valve #TF2 servers because of Valve's recent changes to the API. "Valve made changes to the API that we, along with many other services relied on to track in-game player data."

As some of you may have heard/will hear, Valve recently made changes to the API that we, along with many other services relied on to track in-game player data as accurately as possible.

Unfortunately, these changes mean we’re currently no longer able to track data for official Valve servers. Similar changes were made to CS2 last week and currently it’s unknown whether this functionality will ever be restored.

Thankfully, many members of our community have used the Wayback Machine to preserve snapshots of the site and its historical data. Because of this, we still have access to many of the previously recorded numbers of Valve Server player numbers for reference.

Just wanted to put out a quick update as some of you may have noticed changes or inconsistencies in the numbers currently displayed on the site. Thank you for your understanding, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped preserve the historical data and continues to support the community, if anything changes I will let you know
