Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 12/12/2024I would put weight for comments even higher. Something like: Likes = 1 Reposts = 3 Comments = 5 The thing is, you need to be able to discern quality comment to low-effort ones like “Dope”. 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 11/12/2024The fact that this is real and not AI generated makes it 100x better. 020
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 11/12/2024SaaS = Database wrapper Database = File system wrapper Creating an AI wrapper is fine as long as you provide value. 130
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 10/12/2024What's up #buildinpublic! I was thinking of building Skylens, a Bluesky account manager and analytics platform for teams. Today, I created a couple of authentication pages. I just need to integrate Supabase to complete it 😁 Stay tuned for the journey! #indiehacker #bluesky #skylens 030
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 09/12/2024Hey Arman, I just started building Bluesky analytics app as a side project. Do you think I can be included in the pack? 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 09/12/2024Thank you! It's from Open Doodles: www.opendoodles.comopendoodles.comOpen DoodlesA library of sketchy illustrations of people free for personal and commercial use. 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 09/12/2024I finally setup the initial landing page of my side project: - Created the logo - Set up the domain, transactional email, and Supabase - Added a waitlist functionality to the landing page My current stack: - SvelteKit + TailwindCSS - Supabase #buildinpublic #indiehacker 160

Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 07/12/2024I usually walk my dog, play some games, or watch some movies. 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 07/12/2024It’s Saturday! I’ve been quite busy this week. But I finally have some free time to build. I’m thinking of building a semantic search API for videos. What are you building #buildinpublic? Links are welcomed! 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 04/12/2024Oh cute! I love how he/she looks like wearing a mask like Batman 😄 100
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024Sometimes my dog is sleeping with his eyes partially open and his paw on his mouth 😂 Yes, he’s sleeping in this picture. #husky #dogsky 050
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024I added you in! I’m looking forward to seeing what you launch in action 😁 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024I actually like it with www. It sort of gives it a differentiation from app.domain.com or docs.domain.com 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024The game we’re in is collecting games. Who cares about finishing them right? 130
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024The Bay Area has such a beautiful sunset. I’m glad I’m finally here. #photosky #bayarea 040
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024Yeah, huskies are quite strong. Luckily since he was a puppy, I trained him to walk off-leash, so, none of that pulling 😆 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024I’ll be staying around Van Ness. I’m not sure which neighborhood that is 🥲 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 03/12/2024It’s a workout indeed. Luckily, I trained my dog to be off-leash. So, he just walk next to me or explore on his own 😂 000
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 02/12/2024LOL I’ve been there! Tested the prompt 20 times and all good. In production 1 time, broken 😭 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 02/12/2024That’s just the probabilistic nature of LLM. Even with eval, there is no guarantee that it will work as expected in production. That’s why we gotta add monitoring, human in the loop, and other strategies. 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 02/12/2024I read on Reddit that ChatGPT can’t say “David Mayer”. I tested it myself and it’s working just fine for me. Am I late to the party? 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 02/12/2024I’m visiting SF for a couple of days. Anyone got a recommendation of some good places to eat? 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 02/12/2024We did an hour walk and now he’s a tired boi 🥰 #husky #dogsky 72326
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024Day 3 of eating leftover turkey for lunch. Today, I made it a sandwich with the leftover dinner rolls. 010
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024Congrats! I just hit 400 followers this morning and I'm happy about it 😂 120
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024Yes, I agree! I hope it continues to be like this in the future. 000
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024It's been a week since I joined #bluesky and I have gained 400 followers, another important milestone for me as Bluesky is the only platform I'm active in. Thank you everyone 🎉 160
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024This looks awesome! What AI models are you using to generate the video and audio? I added you in! Don’t forget to like and repost for visibility 😁 000
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024Thank you for the write-up 😁 I found your take on the unreachable goal very interesting. Most advice I heard is all about defining a clear goal with numbers. Anticipating the risk that could bring failure is an actual gold. I’ll keep that in mind. 110
Edwin Kys @edwinkys.com · 01/12/2024Oh that sounds great! If there is an event in Austin, I’ll check it out for sure. 010
