Funny thing is I hadn’t even seen that you’d shared a list like that. In any case, you didn’t quote repost it with some of the awful words I’ve seen others use. I personally ended up blocking the curator instead after seeing some of the people they’d put in there. 😂

Well yeah. And I’m basically doing the same thing with people who are very loud and angry about demonizing people publicly without checking their whole character. I don’t care what keywords they mass block from their feed quietly.

There’s also a difference between doing so quietly for your own peace of mind, and publicly announcing that everyone on a certain list someone else curated is an absolute monster, without checking. The latter is more what I’m talking about.

Absolutely. That goes outward too though. When I see people blindly blocking whole lists of people curated by other people without looking at who’s in there, that does make my gears turn about the people doing that as well.

Because they already know how to make money without a subscription after the first platform they’ve built. That said I’m not against a subscription model alongside an ad model and allowing people to choose between them.

I read this and replies. I don’t think it’s a bad idea to still chat to explain where what you said came from. I don’t think the exact wording matters as much as long as you convey that it wasn’t out of anger but out of wanting her to feel free to express and present herself as who she feels she is.
