Rolling out a rough cut of the book trailer for Our Little Secret, the YA thriller I wrote with my son, Mikhael Klassen-Kay, to be released by Cormorant Books in Spring of 2026. It’s part 1 of our transmedia campaign, and I’m thrilled to finally go public with it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMuw...

Had an exciting meeting with DCB/Cormorant Books yesterday to plan the promo campaign for Our Little Secret, the upcoming thriller I wrote with my son, Mikhael Klassen-Kay. Our publisher has some fun, imaginative ideas for promoting OLS, and are excited for it to be adapted for gaming and TV too!

Visited a border town called Crystal Beach this weekend, part of my new goal of keeping my quick getaways to within Canada. What a difference five years makes. Saw this excellent production of Come From Away last night. But it was like remembering an innocent time when you were in love with someone before they cheated on you, gave you herpes and ran up $10K of debt on your Visa card. Ugh.

Straight outta Jane and Finch to Kidscreen! Honoured to work with Sahle Robinson and Ant Grant, who turned my microbe-inspired kids comedy Twitch and Bluckett into a celebration of hip-hop culture. Matt Wexler (Paw Patrol) is rep'ing it Kidscreen so connect with him if you want to know more!

I've had to sit on this news for months, waiting like Ed Grimley to be able to make this announcement. But here it is, live from New York and Publishers Weekly! Woot!
