Finishing @tkingfisher.com book 'What Moves the Dead" just before I go to sleep was a bad idea. Book started slow, but got creepy fast. Going to start a book about an evil superhero in a post apocalyptic world before going to bed late. You know, a palate cleanser, so I don't dream of the tarn.

Just a reminder that AI will often give you wrong answers because it's programmed to be obsequious. If it thinks telling you no or "oh actually" will hurt your little duck feelings, it won't tell you anything negative. Too many meetings needed to dispell bad conclusions brought up by AI answers.

Looks like the French (like the British as seen in GBBO) don't really understand Mexican food (aka tacos and burritos): lataco.com/french-tacos... They call these tacos when they are squared off burritos w/ creme fraiche and Emmentaler. It's Frenchified Taco Bell according to LATaco and it's ok.

So stupid phone tricks. I got a #pine64 phone and installed #mobian is on it. It's open hardware running an open OS. The phone acts more like a very tiny computer than a phone. So I tried installing Python 3.13.2 from source and it was fine? No drama or contortions.

Been on a Carmina Burana kick for 4 or 6 weeks. Dismayed to find out that Carmina Burana was popular with Nazis. :( Carl Orff (composer) also turned out to have been a shit person. Not a Nazi, but big personal failings. Sometimes Wikipedia can ruin your day.
