I'm similar at the moment - I empathise! The biggest help for me is to keep 9-5 hours for at least a week or two and steal a bit more rest on the weekends. I have a tendency to let my work bleed over into everything. I only have 3 weeks holiday per year, so keeping good work-life balance helps.

Absolutely heartbreaking. As an astrophysicist who worked with e-MERLIN to study pebble formation around stars (the precursors to terrestrial planets, like Earth), it is such a short-sighted move. Decimating the science budget does not make a country great.

Sun-Earth-Moon eventually becomes more unpredictable (due to Moon moving away from Earth and traditional 3-body problem), but this is over thousands of years. It is highly predictable over smaller time scales because it is a more stable system due to the Sun’s mass and distance.

The double-pendulum problem is similar to the three-body gravitational problem in that both systems are chaotic and are not predictable. However, they aren't *exactly* the same thing, but demonstrate similar principles.

The Solar System isn't a three-body problem because the planets move like independent two-bodies, i.e. they orbit the Sun which is their centre of mass. In three-body problems, all objects orbit the same centre of mass, which means their movement cannot be predicted.

I agree with your point about job experience. But isn't the real issue that this is a physics problem, not a pool problem? The density of hydrogen peroxide would cause it to sink to the bottom of the pool and damage the structure of the coating. This isn't a 'standard' pool infrastructure issue. 1/2
