No offense to the new year, but like, I have no desire to celebrate 2025, or any of its “projects.” It’s kind of to how I’d feel about celebrating Columbus Day - it’s a thought filled with ICK. And that’s not to say that 2024 was the BEST but 2024 is how I felt about Bush after having Trump.

I get it!! I joined a group @2016 that was infiltrated with angry Red-pilled incels, and they jumped down my throat anytime I said anything, pretty much. And then I started responding in kind and then I grew so hated they even had groups dedicated to my devastating blocks and laugh reaccs lol

That’s when I first started to realize maybe we weren’t getting the full story. Because I remember learning in my AP History class about the Jews being given their land “back,” but the curriculum never not once touched on what that meant for those who were already living there. Why leave that out?

They told us they hated the Jews, and I remember being shocked. I asked them why they hated them so much, and they were incredulous (I get why now lol), but they were very kind in their explanations. They asked me how I’d feel if their grandparents land was taken and they were put into camps.

When I was 18, back in 1998, I we t to Europe with my exchange student friend for a month. While in Spain, we met these two Muslim men from Israel. I was so naive, and I’d been taught that basically it was divine intervention keeping the Jews safe.

Thank you!! That interview is fascinating. I feel like I get what his point is, that basically this was what is often called “reactive abuse.” That the Israeli leaders and their abuse is essentially to blame. And he is pissed and thinks they were extremely myopic to assassinate the old leader.
