And for lack of a better term, the Metroid Suit is definitely the "Omega Cannon" of this game. I'm guessing full pink meter enables varying states of activating Samus' latent Metroid abilities, the highest level of which will be required to execute these enemies like the E.M.M.I. in Dread - 7/8

Missiles that change direction? At first I thought this was a power up, but looking at it further, I think they're being pulled down by gravity since I think the ceiling tile and change of coloring in the room indicates a heavy gravity increase. A welcome change in usage of gravity suit. - 6/8

I noticed 3 segments on the center of the HUD here, some kind of an increase to the metroid power. More use of the rapid fire beam, different color here. Plasma, likely. - 5/8

Flash shift going through a barrier of some kind, we love to see that. Speaking of which...4 directional flash shift?! LETS GO THATS SO SICK - 4/8

Running on water?! Without speedbooster even, seems really interesting. Judging by the state of Samus' suit, this will be early game. It would be very interesting to see it as base kit - 3/8

HUD is interesting. Squares are presumably E-tanks, underneath is clearly missiles (I love a low missile count. Please don't give me 255 missiles and nothing to do with them), pink is the metroid suit charge meter or whatever, blue seems to be HP. Unsure of the snowflake 2/8

Gonna go through things I noticed in the #Metroid6 trailer This thread is gameplay focused. Obvious spoilers ahead First thing's first...they know what they did. Basically frame 1 they showed a machine gun style beam. Good. I'm not dealing with that shit again. 1/8

I've finished Prime 4. I have a lot of thoughts. The doc is currently 1900 words and I haven't talked about the final boss or the ending yet. Some people told me to record my thoughts or make a video or something...idk that's a lot of effort. IDK MAN. There's a lot to say about Prime 4 though.

idk if I've mentioned it in my skeets yet, but I've finally started reading the Berserk Deluxe Edition. This is my third time through the story and...it's like I'm reading it for the first time. The page turns are unreal, Miura's comedic timing is incredible. I just...I love this story so much

Also, Olivia has a unique dialogue box that appears when she equips a gun for the first time. Guns are mostly used/strong in the overworld, as you can shoot enemies before engaging them in combat, which will either damage them, remove limbs, or outright kill them dependant on your proficiency.

Every time I consider posting anything on LinkedIn, I almost always reconsider and post nothing. All I would do is bitch about being a wage slave to a multibillion dollar corporation that has the audacity to tell me with a straight face that we "can't afford more staff" I hate it here.

I did one of these things. It is not ordered in any way, it's just a list of some of my favorites of all time. I thought about them holistically as games, and also my experiences with them. I'm invariably leaving stuff out, because it's impossible to distill 30-odd years of gaming to 25 games.

It took me a while but I finally finished my newest Magic the Gathering Commander deck. It definitely needs some tweaks and performed well it's first time out (I love kithkin tribal)...but I feel a little bad about using this guy as my commander 🤣🤣
