This is the oldest print in the Edinburgh Printmakers Permanent Collection. It was likely made in our first Studio location on Victoria Street in 1969. Grubb is well known for her illustrations of fairytales and myths, and the use of contrasting textures gives unique dimensionality to her art.

We had a wonderful weekend learning about Toyobo with Leena Nammari earlier this month 📷🖌️ Toyobo is an innovative printmaking process that produces results similar to the 19th century process of photogravure. It's a brand of non-toxic plate that is used to produce polymer photogravure prints.
