Yup. I tried this experiment too. I got it to agree with me that I had met an angel and was currently hanging out with it, got it to agree that I should start my own religion. It did recommend a few ethical guidelines on how to treat my disciples though, which is nice.

I am deeply ashamed to have briefly thought he was cool when he made his "trews" show. I was suffering from an extended period of delusional paranoia at the time though, up to and including that secret organisations were trying to contact me via GTAV NPCs... But i think thats his target audience

Hell, reading a book you HATE is worthwhile. I could write a damn book about how much I hate the Crysalids, but the visceral emotions I feel about that book have been real fuel for me to figure out a lot of IRL stuff.

The Last of us 2 discourse was exhausting. So many people cannot get out of their heads that when something happens to a character it isn't about what that character deserves. Thousands of men out there took that story as a personal attack against themselves.

They are blissfully unaware that every major thing secular buddhism has to say has already been said hundreds of years ago. Buddhism has had its own secular movements within it, nothing is new under the sun.

Secular Buddhism is a bit tent, i consider myself under it and I can report that those guys are in here. Even when it doesnt go as far as a racial thing, it definitely manifests as a sort of "we wise scientists will tell those fools what their philosophy means" attitude.

Eastern writers have also been doing that. The Dalai Llama wrote a book called Beyond Religion advocating for secular ethics and philosophy and has called for a scientific approach to the Dharma. There have been many secular movements in the east, for thousands of years.

Its like some kind of dark alchemy, twisting peoples inner worlds at just the right pressure points to produce monsters.

The notion of opening up hate really made a lot of things make sense. I've seen hatred of EVERYTHING grow in recent years, but hatred of trans people always seems to be at the core of it somehow.

Its a big self report to conclude that a super intelligence will naturally be evil. I completely discard the notion that the LLMs we have today can be actual AI, but if such a thing truly developed I would fully expect it to be capable of moral reasoning, because morality is logical.

Reminder: Market research found that the more a person understands how an LLM works the less they want to use it because they see its limitations. Their advertising strategy is a giant game of word association to make you think that LLMs are magical conscious agents imbued with terrible power.

He will hopefully be convicted for attempted murder, but these people are very good at using the press to spin the story to the public. It will likely settle into the public's mind that he was arrested for his political views, rather than the reality that he tried to murder some human beings.

YouTube's ai adverts have escalated to showing full blown hentai fucking. No joke, i just got an add showing an anime girl getting railed by some devil guy. Auto-plays as you scroll past and everything. But sure lets demonitise youtubers who say swear words to keep the platform family friendly.
