It's a detailed understanding of history and the world and how societies develop and change. The less you involve actual understanding of history in these discussions, the more 9t serves the goal of creating a guilt complex.

Acknowledgement/ apologies of past wrong doings is great. But do you really apologise for the crimes of your great grandfather and compensate the damages? Is real guilt to be inherited through future generations? Did you choose for these crime or are you complicit and obligated just by being born?

Correcting history. How about what the Romans inflicted? Or African tribes amongst themselves (slave trade was a very efficient way to take another tribe's land and get rid of the population. Do they also need to do reparations? Or are you a bit selective in your focus?

Not trivalizing the seriousness of what happened in the past. You are focussing on just one occurance of something that was a broadly present. A major one, but demanding reparation would take you back to ancient times, with millions of reparation obligfations back and forth globally.

Colonisation, like slavery, was/is not a European monopoly. It can be seen throughout all parts of the world and cultures. The Western colonisation was the most elaborate/extensive though. Blaming history for today whereas other courses of history would bring another reality and other problems.

This has absolutely nothing to do with trickle down economics. You might want to review the definition. The goal was not to create jobs or stimulate investments. You make donations look bad bacuse they're tax deductable. Fraud? Bring on the proof 😂
