What a scorcher in Penrith yesterday. Our fruit trees were thriving under the hot sun but volunteers were feeling the heat as we tackled the instructions for a new polytunnel which we hope will protect our plants and the volunteers from the vagaries of our Cumbrian climate in the coming months.
