Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy concerts next year, gonna be some good times 😁

It makes me wonder if humanity is actually worth it.

Ebay listings of Delta Reign Pokémon Center ETBs at ridiculous scalping prices. Please don't buy these.

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Dunno why I even bothered queuing for the Pokemon Center ETB, the queues are broken and the site gets broken too with all the people and bots taking everything.

Bus breaking down on the A45, lovely way to start the week

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

At least *something* came on time 😄 No slight to any scalper enabling franchises at all, nope.

Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave physical copy with a 'trinket dish' that came free with it, thanks to ye Olde Nintendo Store.

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Lets hope we get one soon. We need a new one.

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I'm saying nothing about the Pokémon 30th set today. Pokémon Center delays due to some things 'taking longer than expected to produce', so now I won't get any of it 'til some point in November. The enjoyment and hype is gone for me. I'm numb.

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I'm starting to lose interest in collecting Pokémon cards. It's not a fun hobby when there are people out there who just see it as an investment. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Pokémon cards are a currency now, says Peterborough trader

The owner of Collectors Corner says some Pokémon cards are worth more than houses and cars.

This week flew by... when did it grow wings?

001

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

That Direct felt very middling to me, not really much gripped my attention

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Can't believe this scalper didn't accept my 5 penny offer.

A screenshot of a scalper's ebay listing of the Zelda Switch 2 at £649.99 or Best Offer, clearly not best offer if they didn't accept a five penny offer.

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

No Spiritual Stones for me then 😅

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Might be a controversial take here, but I'm not really a fan of Mercer as Ganondorf.

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Of course birthday means watching Hot Fuzz again 🚨

Simon Skinner in front of a portrait of himself as Employee of the Month in Hot Fuzz.

For the greater good, obviously.

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I'm also a big aching mess from everything I've done while I've been off work these past couple weeks. I need a week off from my weeks off 😂

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I never really do much on my birthday (even when I was younger), despite hyping it up in my head as it gets closer to it. One day I'll have something planned for it, but not this year 🤪

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

13 years apart, guess I have changed a bit 😅 Only thing the same right now is that I still have no idea what I want out of life

010

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

People want to be taken seriously, then come up with this. Guy probably asked ChatGPT how to write, too.

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

My feet are kinda vibrating

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I gotta go to Milton Keynes then go back because there's disruptions going to my stop from the way I came

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Trains are a nightmare 😅

100

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Can't sit still for too long 😂 How do people relax?

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Was meant to go out a bit further today today but my body ain't having any of it

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I think I've definitely overdone it 😅 aching everywhere Think it's been non-stop between walks and sorting stuff at home during my time off. Am terrible at doing nothing hahaha

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I don't have a problem at all, nope.

An array of amiibo boxes with the figures still inside, with characters from various series: Pokémon, Xenoblade Chronicles, Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter.

There is also a Metagross plush with it's legs spread on a deck box and a DSi.

Technical difficulties in the last Pokemon Unite Worlds final is just peak Unite.

010

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Anyone else just keep all the collector's edition boxes and wonder why there's no space to put anything? 😂

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I love it when sites don't have filters for size of stuff like drawers and wardrobes... I'm working with little space here, I just wanna know what fits! 😅

100

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Gamescom more like Gamescam amirite

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I got ID'd for paracetamol 🙈

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Damn, Flayn's learning the dark arts... no one tell Seteth!

Flayn says "Why, when I go to the market -alone- I even haggle!" to Byleth

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Got a couple weeks off work starting next Tuesday, and in true me style I've not gotten around to booking anywhere to go so now all the travel and hotels are a bit pricier 😅 I've got a bit of sorting out to do in my room and get a lot of cards put away (need to rid of bulk, too)

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

I must seem like a right grumpy old git to anyone reading this 😂

000

Eddy @eddymetil.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

It's a wonder there's any surprise factor left with everyone posting on socials about every leak or news snippet from some journalist getting early viewings. Like, where's the enjoyment in knowing everything about it before it comes out?

Just a little reminder 🐾🤍

fluffy black cat lies low in a bright green field beneath a dreamy blue, pink, and purple sky. Text reads: “There are small parts of the world that can only be the way they are because you’re in it. And maybe that means you are needed here.”

Twitch really let them say "If it was opt-in, nobody would opt-in." about gen AI and thought it was a good idea.

I can see the resemblance

Brb changing my email tone from 'asking questions so I can do my job' to 'good little robot that does what is told'. Might as well change my name to Gemini or something 🤪

No, random person I don't know from another team, I'm not going to answer your call when I'm on lunch.

Not that long at all 😂
