Stompin 76 was one of the few times Doc Watson and John Prine shared a stage. It was wide open as only '70s festivals could be, attracting more than 100,000 people to rural Appalachia. Drugs and moonshine were sold openly, and a motorcycle gang provided "security." Looking forward to this.

Recently I've heard from several friends (ranging in age from 30s to 60s) who have struggled to walk on or fallen on ice, with one fracturing a wrist and another breaking an ankle. Ice cleats are a game changer. Mine are strap-on like these from L.L. Bean, but there are plenty of options out there.
