Recently had a fake account imitating Mara Wilson follow me - had to block them. This often happens to me (no idea how) and I fucking hate it!

I was afraid of the "Heaven" music video by Bryan Adams (although I love the song and occasionally talk to the video director), the puppet Wiggles and these two variants of BBC Video -

Wish all infomercials had tunes as killer as this! (The tune in question's called "Never Surrender" by Colin Kiddy, for those wondering)

Donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library tonight, and I'd encourage you to do so as well, if you can.

Loved the 40th anniversary of Labyrinth last night - met up with many friendly faces including the babe himself, Toby Froud. Just a shame Ronnie Le Drew's no longer alive to be with us - he would've loved this!

Genuinely one of the most beautiful adverts in existence.

What else is on the list (I'm somewhat invested)?

Eddie Barrett @eddiebarrett2004.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Fun fact - the music in this was sampled from "Free Me From Your Love" by Colin Kiddy, which you can find on YouTube and De Wolfe Music's website!

And let's not even think about how they'd ruin Brum (though that's already happened twice).

This was a promo for The Tweenies from (I think) 2003 and it honestly looks and feels like a child abuse PIF. Creepy stuff.

They already ruined Art Attack - fuck knows what they'd do with Bluey if they bought it.

OK, but can we all agree that this movie was AMAZING?

If this isn't already a TV series, it'd make a pretty good one!

Just heard that puppetry legend, teacher and all-around brilliant man Ronnie Le Drew's died aged seventy-eight. May he rest in peace - I thank him for what he did for and with the puppetry industry and for just being a brilliant, warm and welcoming person. 🖤

Thirty-five's no age at all (she'd now be thirty-six). She made the best Lilo and I miss her greatly, as do we all.

For those unaware, Brum had a custom-made intro in Sri Lanka with a pretty good tune that I'd sing along to...if I knew the lyrics.

It'll be worth it, I feel, and I say this having watched all three hours of it.

Kinda on the fence about seeing this - I felt this and the previous instalment were unnecessary, but this has been getting better reviews than the fourth one did.
