Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I don't think it was cut, I think it was never intended to be in the final game, essentially they made a tech demo rather than giving away any of the actual game 100
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 03/10/2026FFXV had a great demo. Huge visually impressive boss fight, showed off the mechanics and the look of the game then that section wasn't actually in the final game. Genius really 100
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Hearts of Iron 4 😅 It's not just strategy games though, JRPGS are spreadsheet games ultimately, as are Diablo and the like. Being "good" at those games is about understanding the interaction of game mechanics to make the numbers go up ❤️ 110
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 02/10/2026You say that but when I see a screenshot that's an arty black and white with a spot colour I assume it's an indy platformer and further assume I'll have no interest in it whereas a good sim management game? Get me involved 😆 210

Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Unironically their push to make the rules more tournament friendly has really damaged any character the different factions had on the tabletop and the fixed scenery layouts make for really dull boards. I have no interest in 11th edition at this point 000

Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Absolutely yes but also Use Your Illusion should have been one, shorter, better album and I very rarely listen to Dead Horse or Coma at the end of the first one which is effectively skipping tracks 😅 200
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Ah, just checked, Rambo 2008 had 247 and Hard Boiled 307, and remains the film with the most people getting shot in it ever made 🤣🤣 010
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I love the probably not true fact that used to do the rounds about Hard Boiled taking the record of most murders in a movie away from whichever Rambo film had it so when they made the 2008 one that whole scene of him mowing people down with the 50 cal was in part to get the record back 110

Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Arguably all the previous ones become far too easy once you unlock the good energy sword, the big lasers, boosters that let you fly forever and a generator powerful enough to run it all, it was getting to that point in AC6 I found annoying rather than fun this time out 🤣 010
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Not on the initial story playthrough, you don't unlock the bits you need to make an effective one until far too far into the story. Essentially though my reactions just got worse, I was 18 when the first one came out after all 😅 110
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 28/09/2026My problem with AC6 is they put Dark Souls bosses into an AC game and made tank builds unviable in the story campaign. Maybe I just got old but in my opinion, 5 was a much more fun game. Appreciate that 6 was super popular though! 200
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 27/09/2026The Trump admin weren't aware of anything, it was a tip off from the public to the UK police after nobody answered the phone at the air base. That's just Trump making stuff up again 100
Ed Can Do @edcando.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I'm the real world, in a country that went through a sustained, decades long bombing campaign, you don't get away with driving trucks full of explosives about without someone calling the police on you 000
