We are in an age of Energy Opportunity . We have the opportunity to fill large energy grids with cheaper energy. The technology is going to include Enhanced Geothermal Systems. It has 2 great changes to bring: 1) no emissions will be generated And 2) it is expected to run continuously

That because there is so much heat in our earth that by bringing some of it within reach we need no fuel, and can have no fuel emissions. But the results can be energy for everyone. Different land needs different engineering, but there should be plenty to go around.

So, don't create areas that don't protect themselves. The ability to help the land protect itself was an important step in regeneration of agriculture.

Amen. The land needs caring for. There is also a lot of useful engineering that can keep a partition between what can and must be kept from damaging the open world while still giving energy to our living and industrial needs.
