Character designs for projections for the fab new insect based show Diane Webb is making. 2 types of butterfly, the swallow tail and the dingy skipper, both equally deserving of preservation despite only one of them looking so cuddly. #characterdesign #animation #childrenstheatre

Had a gorgeous week enjoying the company of Diane Webb and John Giller conjuring projections for Diane’s hilarious new show about insects and climate change. This will be such a delight to work on later this summer. #animation #projectiondesign #videodesign

The first six months of medical transition I made a new art each month to chart my progress instead of the usual photographing bodies and faces that most other trans people do. After 6 months I didnt feel that compulsion anymore but I’d love to share some of them. This was March.

Spent the weekend with family in Didcot for my brothers birthday. I love these little moments of family connection throughout the year. #sketch #selfportrait #transissketchable

Norwich Cathedral at night. It’s beautiful how the lights catch its peak with such awe inspiring brillance every night. I often pass it on thursdays on the way back from Barbershop choir and this time decided to stop and sketch. #sketch #illustration #cathedral #norwichcathedral

My usual daily observational drawing has been interupted by these delightfully shaped character sketches. I usually struggle with character design shapes but i love how naturally these two flowed from my subconscious mind

Some recent sketches. I really like the empty space around the rooftops picture. it feels so held. And my drawing of the cathedral ground. I likd defying the urge to post incredible art, if that makes sense. #illustration #sketch #meditation #spork #nuanorwich #pelicancrossing

A short poem about letting go, about fear of failure and letting yourself struggle without trying to find solutions all the time. Letting yourself be exactly where you are, imperfect, vulnerable, whole. #poem #illustration #sketch #spokenword #adhd #acceptance #mentalhealth

A cosy enclave surrounded by shrub and tree, shielded from the harsh weekend sun. Imagining critters smuggling themselves away in bushes, hidden from the prying eyes of sunbathers, cyclists and other other ne’er-do-wells. #illustration #animation #chapelfieldgardens #lurkingcreature #sketch
