Metroid Ravenous: Announced. Me: "Holy shit, this is real?!" Me, streaming the end of Dread a long while ago: "Holy shit, this is real?!" Good thing I have a Switch 2, apparently.

SHADOW OFFLINE. Slow progress is still progress, and I seem to have my sea legs in terms of building. I'm grateful for that. @plumnemui.bsky.social gifted me a new animated emote and PNGTuber model, so those saw their debut today! Thank you to everyone who dropped in! It was chill. 🙂‍↕️

I finally got off my keister and picked up a craft mat of my own for gunpla builds. Problem is, what stickers should I put on it? 🤔

Yesterday, I finally finished ripping all the movies in the house. Fitting that I end on a movie like this one. I somehow still have space for TV shows, but most of them are on DVD. We'll see how this pans out. 🫡 Server content collection is fun!

My build backlog may be small, but I should tackle it at some point. 😅

I literally cannot contain myself right now! I've waited 16 YEARS to hear ACT III is coming!! PROTOMEN FANS ARE EATING GOOD. THERE WILL BE LIGHT!

I used to see Weird Al all the time in the aughts. I really fell off seeing him somewhere in the '10s Finally saw him this week, and it's genuinely impressive that a man in his mid 60s can maintain the frantic energy for a whole show. Much less a whole tour. Puddles was also great, too. ❤️

SHADOW/PLUM OFFLINE He's done! My first gunpla build is a success! @plumnemui.bsky.social was a wonderful guide every step of the way, and was able to manage my unique brand of chaos. If you missed it, I revealed that I picked up a new kit! We played a couple rounds of YDKJ! Thanks, y'all!

It was hot, I'm not as spry as I once was, and it was a good day to stay in the shade. But it was nice to visit an old friend today. It was a short visit, but I often enjoy my visits to @kingsislandpr.bsky.social . Perfect day at the park, even if my old bones protested.

I fired up and finished Super Metroid for the first time over the weekend. Took me far too long to get around to it, but I understand why this classic gets the praise it gets. Beating this means I've beat all 5 in some way. But I want Mercury Steam to go ham and remake 1, 3, & 4. Why not? 🤷‍♂️

Losing pieces is apparently part of the gunpla experience, but none so terrifying as truly losing it to the void. ....only to find it nestled in some nearby footwear that you checked more than once. 🫠 Glad I'll be able to finish the build fully, but man. Gotta be careful with those nippers.

SHADOW/PLUM OFFLINE All things considered this was a pretty productive stream! Save for an unfortunate loss of a part to the void, @plumnemui.bsky.social and I had a good time yet again! There should be enough for one more stream. Thanks to those who dropped in and lent their support! ☺️

SHADOW/PLUM OFFLINE Time sure does fly when you're building, it seems! It might have taken me a while to get things together, but @plumnemui.bsky.social kept me on the straight and narrow the whole time! Couldn't have asked for a better birthday stream. Thanks, y'all! There shall be more!

I found a holy grail of a @obsoletesony.com Trinitron, and I decided to cobble together a little retro game cart setup. Probably one of the best of the best in terms of CRT TVs, and I'm glad it has a cozy little home. 📺🎮

Well, dang. I ended up hitting Twitch affiliate 4 years ago today. Time sure does fly, and thanks to those who have supported me for that span of time. Y'all know who you are. Which reminds me. I should probably fire up the streambox soon. 🤔

Pulled this gem by @ashens.bsky.social at work today. I had no idea this was in our collection. Excellent bloke, though. 👨‍🍳

Seeing an NHL hockey game in one of college football's oldest stadiums is a sports memory I'll forever cherish. h/t to @johnatomy.bsky.social for giving me the opportunity to experience it with him and 94k of fellow freezing hockey fans. Go Jackets!

Haven't missed a natty celebration since '03, and I doubt I'll break that streak. Excuse the chunky pixels. But I was definitely grinning ear to ear a couple days ago. #gobucks
