Tough couple of days on the islands. The shallow waters of Florida Bay were no match for the frigid temps. The threshold temp for most local fish is about 57degrees and our waters are very near that temp now. Fish are dead, manatees, and sea turtles are struggling. #marinelife #coldsnap #fish

Said goodbye to Timone today. She wasn’t doing well in the cold water so the good people from the turtle hospital came and picked her up. She has been in the marina with us for five years. We will miss her nightly sunset appearances and look forward to her return! #seaturtle #marinelife #coldsnap

Fish football! Dolphins in the marina play a game of catch with a fish. Haven’t figured out the rules yet but super entertaining!

The dolphin in the lead has a fish in his mouth.

The dolphin throws the fish in a forward pass and then another dolphin races forward and catches it!

Medicare for All would save $450B a year. Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity. Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall. It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford. It’s about priorities.

Too many politicians will claim to be progressive and then refuse to take a stand on trans rights. You can’t be progressive while denying an entire group of people basic human rights. Mamdani proved when you do the right thing, you win. He fought for the trans community and they embraced him.
