I loved the 1st book of The Fatebound Duology, Beyond the Aching Door by Victoria Mier, SO MUCH! Like truly one of my absolute favorite books I've read in a long time! When I went to buy a signed copy of the 2nd book, of course I had to buy the omnibus with the gorgeous cover under the dust jacket!

My new little sprout, Vesna. I haven't fully figured out her story yet, and she might end up as a viera soon. I have trichotillomania & dermatillomania and I kind of use the body freckles to represent the scars over my body from decades (mid 30s lol) of picking.

The cap came with very visible stress marks from production & it's really hard for me to ignore it. Plus I can't actually feel inside to see if it's a surface crack and I'm worried ink might get trapped in the crevices of the marks and stain. I already reached out to Goldspot & they're replacing it.

Ok I gave up on fixing the clipping, but I thought I came to a decision when I tried these hairs on au ra. Then I plopped them on the viera and now I'm back at square one bc I do love the fluffy mashup on her!! But the flatter (?) style looks so good on the au ra.

I wanted to treat myself for making the Dean's List so I ordered two new fountain pens. When I saw the Leonardo Momento Magico in Amethyst while browsing, I fell in love!! Super excited for that one. But then I also just saw the newly released color for the Navhalur Horizon and grabbed that too!

Ok! After spending hours (tbh days) in character creation and photoshop, I've narrowed it down! I still can't decide which I like more. The locs work for viera too and they look good on her. When I tried it on au ra, I was like "oooh! I really like that!" Then I turned her around LMAO!

I have found THE perfect fountain pen combo (for me) and I have found peace lol. I never thought to put my black Hongdian M2 EF nib in my Hongdian 1862. I hated the nib that came with my 1862, but the EF black nib is SO nice and honestly one of my favorites.

I unlocked Haranir a couple of hours ago and GIRL, what is going on here?! LOL I unfortunately can't make any of my usual transmogs look good on mine bc half of it has clipping issues. It's kind of disappointing things like this weren't addressed prior to release but I'll live until they fix it.

I accidentally pre-ordered the same book twice. Why am I like this? 🙃 I was so confused when I saw it twice, then I checked the dates. I ordered them 4 days apart lmfao. I checked my confirmation email and it said the 2nd was sent at 12:40am. Omg my husband needs to take my phone after 10pm! 😩

This took most of the day because the browser version of Canva runs like trash, and for whatever reason I didn’t think to download the desktop client until I was basically done lmao. But I’m so happy with how my monthly calendar spread turned out! I did it all from scratch w/o a premade template!

I also finally ordered the Tom’s Studio Pocket fountain pen! I really wanted a pocket pen and I like my Hongdian M2, but I don’t love it. I also preferred the look of the Tom’s Studio over the Kaweco Sport. I don’t see much about this pen so I’m hoping I like it! This is the combo I got.
