Bruce Coville is going to be at one of our local book shops. I've got to get this signed; I've had it since elementary school, and it's definitely at least partly why I wanted to be an artist.

Kids go back to school on Tuesday, so it's time to seriously clean the studio. I've invented a game called "This Goes...." where I pick up something (anything) and ask myself where it goes. I then take it directly to its spot. Kind of hate how well it's working. Studio before game!

My studio - a sun room with three walls of windows and one with a door leading to my house. The wall is purple and covered in art. My table, desk, shelves, and floor art covered with mess. Bilbo, my big white and brown dog, is lying on the rug peering up at the camera.

My current project requires a lot of nacho "cheese", so I've been tinting liquid polymer clay with oils to get just the right orange. It's very satisfying to pour.

Reason #4 to go to a furry convention: There are friends, and fun, and some of the kindest people I've ever met in my entire life. I'm so lucky to be a part of this community. It's made my life so, so much better.

Reason #3 to go to a furry convention: Fursuits are a freaking work of art! If you know who this is, please let me know, I need to gush at them more about their purrmaid.
