We are delighted to announce that we have received core funding from Garfield Weston to support Improbable’s development of a new home, The Gathering. This grant will support us in the next step of this journey across 2025.

Day 1 of 2025, saw Robbie Williams tell his life story as a chimp. The year has peaked. All downhill from here. (im not joking)

Hello! We are Improbable. Pioneering improvisers, theatre makers and conversation facilitators. Improbable occupies a vital space in the landscape of UK theatre. At the heart of our artistic practice is improvisation. Improbable began in 1996 (or at least that is what we've decided for now...)

What a week! We’ve just completed our first ever Arts Leaders Residency with this incredible group of humans. We spent the week holding space to get shit done differently and could not have wished for a better group to do it with. 😍

Led Improbable's first ever Arts Leaders Residency with this brilliant bunch of humans. We spent a week holding space for getting shit done differently and I could not have asked for a better bunch to do that with. Also a lot of laughing & fun, which feels in short supply in our sector these days...
