Fire emblem is doing the multiple routes option again with 4 factions this time, and I REALLY REALLY hope they either give us an actual protagonist, or commit to the four leads just being the leads Instead of another souless voiceless byleth... Make me love the PC like corrin or robin PLS!

Fire emblem is, hands down, my favorite game series out there! It's got everything I want & I need more companies to copy them! Anyways, does it show I haven't played any of the classics?

Ever just make the most cursed things imaginable? Yeah these babies are made from authentically skinned Cheeto puffs! All that shimmer and shine on their surface? Yeah, they also bleed grease somehow! Does that make any sense? Absolutely not! May orange cats enjoy xD

Tried an X romhack a few months back. Hit hard thinking it might make it a bit more compelling gameplay wise, compared to the cakewalk x was normally. Then half the trainers are rolling up with VGC viable teams & the gym leaders are bordering on kaizo lineups Pokemons range in fandom is wild

Oh there's definitely indie games on consoles And to be fair I haven't used my consoles in a while so I don't know if things have improved But finding good ones used to be a huge issue On the switch especially! But The marketplaces just didn't handle them well unless they were best sellers

Lady Dawnlight @eclairdawnlight.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

We lost accessibility Renting games is far less common/available than what we grew up with even 10-15 years ago much less with the blockbuster era And while indie titles fill the cheaper end of spectrum AAA used to also fill part of it with handheld games like pokemon + Indies are often PC focused

Getting all 6 ultima weapons + 5stars on all the crystal missions takes an obscene amount of dedication.... Or at least luck to get the materials to ascend weapons to final form Played for well over a hundred hours and only got one myself

I remember a lot of plugs in the past never utilized the fact one side could/should be a little bit bigger so they could be plugged in both ways. Now it seems like all of em both use that & make the hold a bit tighter BC they feel more secure. Did grow up in An old home though, so old plugs

Imagine an alternate timeline where Jumpforce wasn't a low effort arena battler, but a hero "shooter" akin to Overwatch and Rivals Like half the rivals cast are martial centered characters It really coulda worked and been one of the most interesting anime games Imagine if Hasbro games were good

Lady Dawnlight @eclairdawnlight.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

I almost exclusively play strategist/support in marvel rivals RN Characters I'd love to see added for support are - Sue storm - Emma Frost - Rio (lady death) - Mysterio An armor/shield based support, temp survival against dives, the sensory overload

000

Lady Dawnlight @eclairdawnlight.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

So I've only played marvel rivals for like an hour or two. But damn do I live that EVERYONE is bricked out and not just tanks!!! Like my aim has never been the best in high mobility games, but I don't have to stick to AOE characters BC I can still FKN hit my allies to heal or foes to kill

Dunno if/when I'll be returning to streaming yet or not. But I'm definitely down to hang with & colab with friends. Gaming with homies was a main reason I wanted to take a swing at this in the first place after all!

Lady Dawnlight @eclairdawnlight.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

It's crazy how once again Arcane has an INSANE soundtrack, but then the opening is just imagine dragons 🤣
