Here is some art I have done recently. This is only a small portion of things I’ve tried and things I’ve made. Turns out when everything else feels like it’s on fire, I still love being creative.

I don’t know if this is already a thing or not, but I want to make it a thing. For me, at least. Ants on a Log, but the ants are blueberries. If the normal version has dried fruit, why not… fruit. It’s like a tiny pb&j on celery. Regardless, I thought it was rather tasty.

I made my sister some handmade paper for her birthday, and my quality control specialist did amazing work on her inspections. 125/10

This week’s Ope I Started Another New Craft™️ is me realizing I could cut some fabric into strips and voila now I have “yarn”! And promptly started making a rug, as my crafting ancestors would have wanted.

First person pov: My legs are propped up on a chair out on the deck, and in my lap is a partial oval rug being crocheted out of aqua fabric yarn, and a ball of said yarn.

Why did past me store this WIP with the board games? Frankly, that’s none of my business. But it was fun to find, and it’s been fun working on it in this beautiful weather.

Started hand-making a rigid heddle yesterday, and (unpictured) got a lot more done on it today. It’s tedious, especially cause I’m working with The Tools I Already Had™️. But I’m enjoying myself greatly.

Over the weekend I went to a painting party. I didn’t follow the class’s guided painting and instead just played around with color the whole time (left). But when I got home I played even more, and ended up with kind of a haunted lake vibe (right). It was Very Therapeutic, 10/10

Here just to post a photo of my cat and then disappear again for an indeterminate amount of time. Probably.
