Post something random or you'll have an awful October I still don’t know why this fuckass plush I won at a claw machine in a movie theater has a bib that says bread. I think it’s their name.

I will also say, if MercurySteam does remake Fusion at some point? I’m honestly down. Especially with the way they redesigned the Fusion suit for Dread’s opening. It feels like they already understand what makes Fusion special.

Another huge thing here is character design, particularly in terms of the monstrous designs of every X-infested creature (My favorite obviously being the corrupted SA-X) and the Fusion suit. You can truly feel how distinct they wanted this game to feel. (Art by 3ihard)

My mom walked in on me while watching the new @caddicarus.bsky.social video, which I had paused on this exact frame by coincidence. To say she was worried and confused would be an understatement.

Did the thing! I had so many games I couldn't add here, namely Portal 2, but I feel these represent my taste the best. #My9Games my9games.net/en/share/9dc...

Just saw Coyote vs. ACME. I genuinely came *this* close to crying near the end. Wile E. Coyote is a hero and my friend and WB, particularly David Zaslav and Ellison, can suck on my cock and balls.

I had to get in on the @pixelframe.bsky.social Metroid Ravenous generator, and I felt it only fitting to pull out a certified Miiverse classic.

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 13/09/2026

Metroid games are generally fairly short so I don’t expect this to take too long outside of Other M. Also, outside of the first 3 games, I’m playing all of these in original hardware. Other M is being played through a Wii U for higher fidelity and convenience but it’s still a physical disc!

Photo showing a Metroid plushie (Made by @metroidhat.bsky.social) surrounded by a GBA SP, New 3DS XL, and physical copies of Metroid Zero Mission, Other M, Dread (Steelbook) and Samus Returns. The GBA has a copy of Metroid Fusion instered, while the 3DS has digital copies of Metroid NES, Metroid II Return of Samus and Super Metroid.

It reminds me of the puppets used as part of the making for the DQ VII Remake. And I think those gave a lot of the amazing vibes for that game, at least imho.

Idk, I actually really like this one for Hag. I think it's pretty creative tbh.

These are not a focus for the upcoming Metroid Ravenous marathon, but I finally have all of the main Metroid Prime games physically. I would still like to get my hands on a copy of Trilogy and maybe hunt down Hunters/Federation Force, but I’m very happy with this collection as it is. #MetroidPrime

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 10/09/2026

I can’t believe Metroid Ravenous got me so excited that I’m bringing this thing out to finally play it. It feels like a cursed item, a blight upon my soul that I need to cleanse by playing it…

If we finally get the announcement of the Resident Evil 2 remake coming to Switch 2 in tomorrow’s Direct, that means that we’ll finally have all 3 90’s blonde heartthrobs in remake form on a single system.

131

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 06/09/2026

The Switch port is also genuinely ass. This game is SCREAMING for a Switch 2 version. holy shit. It consistently crashed every like 6 hours if I got jumpscared. Insanely long load times, super low resolution textures showing at the same time as very high ones... It's super messy. Like, look at THIS.

If we ever get a live action variant of Mig, I have been praying that they get Diego Boneta to play him. It really does feel like the perfect casting imo. Also would be really funny to see the guy who played Luis Miguel playing Spider-Man 2099, but that show is why I think he’d be great as Mig tbh.

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 11/08/2026

Dude, I've never actually played Fields of Mistria, wtf do you mean THIS is what people are complaining about????? Y'all would NOT survive playing PSO2 for 15 minutes.

And so, Mina The Hollower comes to a close (for now). Genuinely my Game of the Year now. What a tremendous endeavor. Yacht Club Games continues delivering time after time and, while this game is not made for everyone, I think y’all should try it at least once. I now believe in Mouse girl supremacy!

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 27/07/2026

I may just be biased cuz I’m loving the game itself, but I do think the cover for the new Star Fox is genuinely one of my favorites ever. Shoutout to the Epic Mickey Rebrushed Steelbook too tho. Genuinely perfect imho.

Oy @microsoft.com! Your customer service sucks balls! I've been working in phone and email customer service for the last 6 years and you would sooner catch me dead than share a response like this. I know for a fact there's more you can do. Get @ohitssmush.bsky.social his account back!!!

Hey it’s #ShadowLabyrinth ‘s first anniversary!!!! What a special little game. I know a lot of people didn’t vibe with it, but it’s one of those things that’s gonna remain special and one of my favorites for a long time to come. I hope some day people can see it the same way I do. #ConsumeDarkness

Also Katt Monroe’s redesign is literally the best she has ever looked and I love it. She went from “GirlTM” to “Girlfailure” and it’s sooooooo good. It adds so much and matches her backstory so much better. If anything, I wish they had gone wilder with some of the rest of the cast.

120

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 17/07/2026

I still really like the Star Fox redesigns ngl. Are they weird? Yeah. But they also oddly fit and make the game feel so unique. It’s such a risky take from Nintendo that I wouldn’t have expected, but it feels so natural once you’re actually playing the game. I’ve grown to love all of them!

Toy Story - 1995 When people talk about a perfect first movie, Toy Story needs to be in there everytime. Fundamentally just a perfect script with some of the most compelling character arcs ever. The animation quirks give a charm that is impossible to recreate today. Completely timeless!

010

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 28/06/2026

I'm doing a small marathon of Toy Story movies ahead of watching the new one. I'll share my thoughts on this thread. I'm doing all the movies (including both of the Spin-Off Buzz movies, much to my delight and subsequent chagrin) and short films. No shows or other complementary media tho.

While we're at it, Star Fox Guard (2016) This is a tech demo. While technically an interesting usage of the Wii U hardware, it's so unambitious and uninteresting that there's no reason to ever boot it up after you've played it for 5 minutes. I don't hate it, but I felt nothing playing it Frog pog

100

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 14/06/2026

Star Fox Zero (2016) Honestly, better than I expected? I'm shocked too, but it wasn't too bad. It's kind of mediocre and the safest Star Fox game ever, but I can't call it bad or be upset about it. It's a game that doesn't understand its predecessors, yet works as a serviceable new installment.

300

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 13/06/2026

-INTERMISSION- Star Fox Zero - The Battle Begins (2016) Man this was just cool. As a brief retelling of the first mission of Zero it's very successful, and has some stellar action courtesy of the stellar Production IG and WIT Studios and a clever, if simple, script leaving hints for the game.

311

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 13/06/2026

Star Fox Command (2006) Again an odd control scheme kills the fun for this one. While it's not too different from KI:U, having it in All-Range mode constantly is a pain. Story wise it also feels so mean spirited towards everyone but Slippy. Poor Krystal gets it ROUGH in particular.

301

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 12/06/2026

Since they didn’t reply to it here, I just wanna share the response @velanstudios.bsky.social gave on the other site cuz it’s just heartwarming to see these two studios sharing their love for Fox and crew and each other’s work.

They will never get me to hate this show, man. The TADC finale was absolutely stellar. I loved every bit of it so so much. I can’t believe this was considered controversial, I thought it was a perfect, if a bit scattered, finale to TADC. No spoilers though! I can’t wait for y’all to see it!!!

130

Echo!! @echosaefir.com.mx · 03/06/2026

All the characters do, honestly. I mean, look at what they did to my boy Murfy vs. how he looked in the original! It looks AI generated honestly.
