Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 20/04/2025Centimeters is just better, when I say cut 13 into 3, I get 4.3 and everything works out. When I say cut 5 inches into three it say 1.666... which is actually 1 and 11/16 inches which is also not really correct because that's 1.6875 100

Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 19/12/2024I just don't think a program can support consciousness on its own, it would have to be like several computers acting as different parts of a brain, and the computer itself would be able to manipulate its own code so that it can change and form its own opinions based on data. 000
Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 19/12/2024I don't think computer consciousness will sprout from AI tho. Like AI just mimics human output, but it doesn't actually think, it's got no soul behind the output. 000
Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 19/12/2024Listen when computers start actually having thought and consciousness, that computer is a person now. Whether that is possible? Totally different question, we alredy have a hard time defining consciousness for Humans. 000

Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 11/12/2024I don't read, and yet I am still annoyed by students who don't read their emails all the way through. To be fair I work in Financial aid, and a lot of the emails contain very important information! Don't skip out reading the fine print when it comes to loans you guys, please I am begging you. 000
Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 11/12/2024nothing will remain in permanence, other than the constant cycle of things are better than before and things are worse than before, and then it just keeps going like that for forever. 000
Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 11/12/2024I don't know, I just don't really like the phrase, "this too shall pass". It sounds too passive, like we just have to wait for things to get better, as if we can't do little things to make things at least a little better. Something more like, shit sucks but we can always clean it up 000
Nole @echonk07.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Isn't the passage of time all we have? This too shall pass still makes up our lives, should we not fight for things to be better? Why let the time pass us by, as if we are just observers watching a carnival. Does the audience not also cheer and boo? 000
