The seemingly normal woman looked around rapidly with wide eyes before looking at Denji. "U-Uh...I-I don't know what happened, but I'm not evil, I-I swear!!" She looks down at Denji hopefully...

But, after a few moments, the veins under her skin turned black, and she began writhing in his chain. "G-GRRGH...." Her head fell forward for a moment, and her skin turned a more natural shade rather than the deathly pale it was. The claws retracted, and as her head raised, blue eyes were seen.

"GRRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!" The Witch is punched away by Denji, carrying two fingers in it's mouth that it managed to rip off. The chain grabbed her soon after, and she was held above the Chainsaw Devil, glaring back down at his yellow eyes with her own red ones.

Her heart is tremoring as she enters an abandoned pharmacy. She needs medicine, badly. The flickering flashlight on her shotgun guides her through the aisles when suddenly - a sound makes her reel around, aiming. "S-Someone there...!?" #OpenRP #HorrorRP

Witch Survival Guide entry 9: Very, very, occasionally, the Witch's bloodlust and fears subside. In these moments, it is possible to pet the Witch. (We hold no responsibility of injury, loss of limb, or death that comes as a result of petting The Witch.)

The two walked in silence, creeping and listening out to the muffled wailing that seemed to be avoiding them. After some time, the Soldier spoke again. "It's called the Witch. A new B.O.W. Though I guess a little too successful."

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Another look towards the stairs, and then a sigh. "I'll take point. Need you with me to finish it." And with that, the Soldier crept upstairs with Gabrielle. Sprawling, abandoned halls stretched out before them. Another thin trail of blood to be followed.

"This specimen cannot be allowed to escape. Under any circumstances. You understand? Now that you've seen it, you're part of this. So if either of us fail, it's both our heads on the block. Whether it's this thing...or the higher ups."

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Shining the light upstairs revealed, for a split second, red eyes glaring down at Gabrielle before they pulled away out of sight, and running footsteps could be heard above her. Thankfully only a few moments later, the Soldier returned, looking at the stairs before turning to Gabrielle.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

But as she listened, very very faintly, she could hear the woman's voice coming from somewhere upstairs, once again quietly crying.

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

A side door was kicked down, and the Soldier wasted no time, making his way down dark and dusty halls before turning out of sight. Gabrielle was left alone hovering at the building's entrance.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"Great..." The Soldier dug in his pocket, shoving a flashlight into Gabrielle's hand before turning on the one on his gun. "Stand at the entrance. Shoot the thing if you see it, obviously. Too dangerous for you to go wandering."

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"Two guns are better than one. Don't worry, best case scenario, you won't need to lift a finger." The unlikely duo made their way down the alley, tracking the Witch's trail. It led to a torn-open gate behind which a large abandoned office building stood.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

As if wondering, "So why are you alive?" But nothing is said, and the Soldier starts walking down the alley the Witch ran through. "It shouldn't be able to run far. Come on."

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"Doesn't matter. I have orders, and now you do too." The Soldier steps past Gabrielle, looking down at the fresh trail of blood. "That thing killed nine of my men. We barely had time to react." They glance back at Gabrielle for a moment, silent.

Chainsaws rip through bone and tendon, as her teeth tear into his shoulder, forearms, and her claws bury themselves into his chest repeatedly. The blood spraying onto them both constantly regenerating them in this absolute slugfest.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"GRRRREEAAAAAHHHH!!!" Seemingly unphased by the transformation the Witch charges at him still, until finally the two impact in a bloody brawl.

"𝗜𝗜𝗜𝗜𝗜𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘𝗘𝗘𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛!!!!!!!!!!" The sound of glass shattering echoes all throughout the street before Denji's own eardrums burst, deafening him. As he recovers from the sudden shock and pain, he sees the Witch sprinting towards him without sound, claws outstretched.

010

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"......" The Witch's growling stops at Denji's words before her head tilts up, looking towards him with red eyes as her body begins trembling. She inhales sharply before letting out an absolutely ear-bursting scream.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

"G...GrrRRRGGHHH..." Said Devil clasped her hands against her head, face obscured from view. Blood from her claws smeared in her white hair as she repeatedly opened cuts on her own head.

"Looks like I got here just in time." A gruff voice, muffled by their mask. Gabrielle was pulled to her feet, and a pistol shoved into her hands. "Let's go. Before it escapes."

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Gabrielle could see who fired once she looked back towards the manhole cover. An Umbrella soldier, mask still on looked at her for a moment before lowering their SMG to the floor and pulling themselves out of the manhole.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Gunfire suddenly tore through the air, hitting the Witch repeatedly who hunched down atop Gabrielle, thankfully stopping her being hit. Still, it didn't die, standing up and beginning to sprint away, although it's steps were unfocused, almost tripping repeatedly.

Gabrielle's scream echoed in the empty alley, and her elbow landed solidly against the Infected's side, another growl escaping her throat. The Witch's hands grabbed her shoulder with one hand, her head with the other, and exposed her neck to it's gaze.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Those terrible clawed hands lowered onto the floor on either side of Gabrielle's head. A low growl came from just behind her as the Witch leaned down, breath now on Gabrielle's neck.

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

A shadow loomed over Gabrielle as she started to collect herself. And suddenly, she was forced back to the floor when she tried picking herself up as the Infected dropped onto her back.

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Gabrielle's panicked running was followed by slow yet steady footsteps as the growling Infected watched her run. And her fearful sprint was soon ended as the puddle made her fall to the floor, winded from the sudden impact.

Suddenly the woman before Gabrielle begins to violently snarl, her arms trembling before a hand digs into the car next to her, easily shredding the metal as she begins to pull herself to her feet. "Grr..RRRGGGGHHHHH!!!" She trembles violently for a moment before taking a step towards Gabrielle.

But where words fail, actions thrive. And the Witch moved again, now sitting alongside Tammy, before leaning into her, letting her bony shoulder press against Tammy's. "...thangkh...youurgh..."

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

"Grrrrghhh...." She lacked the proper faculties to articulate what she wished to say to Tammy, having to settle for an odd growl. The intial shock of a friendly survivor, odd as she may be, had faded somewhat, replaced now by concern for the clearly troubled woman.

110

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

After settling, the two are now sitting directly opposite each other, the Witch's blooded knees pressed against Tammy's as she studies the other practically unblinkingly. The warmth of another's presence was so foreign to the Witch. But a feeling that further calmed her constantly pounding heart.

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

"Norrrgh...." Even simple words had to be forced through slurred growls, as the Witch shifted closer to Tammy yet again. "Yourregh....kinndgh..." And besides. The Witch's condition all but assured at least her safety in this scenario...the same could not be said for Tammy.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

The Witch shakes her head in reply. Fear had been a constant in her life, all across the fragmented memories still rattling in her head. But right now she felt the most calm she had in a long time. Ever since... She couldn't remember that far back.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

The woman on the floor continued quietly whispering something to herself, trembling...seemingly taking no notice of Gabrielle for now.

000

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Bullet holes were visible in the woman's arms as they covered her head, oozing thin streams of blood slowly. More than that, however...Gabrielle could see the menacing-looking claws that were on the ends of her arms.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

The next step brought Gabrielle closer to where the wailing was, and able to now see the figure of a scrawny-looking woman laying on her side behind the car. The trail of liquid she'd seen earlier led to this woman, and Gabrielle could now see it was clearly blood.

100

𝙒𝙄𝙏𝘾𝙃 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀! @echoing-cries.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

The Witch seems giddy at this, rocking slightly in place suddenly before looking at the other. "...f...facugh....? Y-Yourr...." The Witch seems to point towards Tammy's face, or, moreso, lack thereof.
