Don't think anyone was expecting this when Ace Attorney appeared in the Capcom investor presentation deck from a while back.

I realise this is a terrible time to look, but if amyone has/knows of any guide freelance work, it would be much appreciated. Some regular work I have had for almost 3 years is coming to an end from Oct 1, so am looking to fill that hole. RTs appreciated and feel free to DM me

Silent Hill Townfall is incredible. The best this specific brand of psychological horror gets with an unsettling narrative, engaging puzzles, and a captivating atmosphere. This was my first Silent Hill game and I absolutely adored it. My review: www.gamerguides.com/silent-hill-...

Control Resonant's poor early pacing and combat balance makes way for a brilliantly deep action game that is bigger, more personal, messier and more human than original. My review: www.gamerguides.com/control-reso...

I keep flip flopping on Control Resonant. I like parts of it but at times it feels kind of overdesigned. The parts where the game ditches the open world fluff is the best.

Every song on that GTA 6 album so far is good or great except the Morgan Wallen one which is a snoozefest, the usual for him. That Rauw Alejandro song is a 10/10, though.

Fun fact, the studio that spent years making this no longer exists and therefore won't see any benefit, only Nacon will.

I really wish Team Ninja would take a year or two out from releasing a game in the first part of the year to make a proper evolution of this formula because all these games look amd feel so similar.

I had a really thoughtful chat with two of the leads on the upcoming Hellraiser: Revival and touched on everything from reverse engineering the audio effects on Doug Bradley's voice for Pinhead, all the way to avoiding demonizing kink and BDSM as they try to respect Clive Barker's original works.

Hellraiser Revival's developers are aware that Clive Barker's work requires a deft touch
'We knew right from the start that we didn't wanna demonize BDSM.'

AAA gaming is so cooked. Milk franchises untill they are dead, Remaster games from 10 years ago. Announce games four years before the release window. Proper dismal era for big budget games right now.

Sony homogenising the majority of their first party lineup was maybe a bad idea. It's like why do all of these games need roguelike modes now. The library of experiences is just becoming stale.

Some of the level design, waypointing, objective stuff discussed in this video is crazy. Makes you wonder if this should have ever been greenlit as a linear game, given Insomniac are known more these days for open worlds than linear adventures.

I don't know but Ghost of Yotei being great but coming and going, these Wolverine reviews, Marathon, Destiny 2 dying, stepping away from Kojima, about 4 live service games stuck in limbo, Intergalactic stuck in dev hell, Sony's position in the market is becoming more untenable by the day.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush isn't a bad game, but it's a vibeless one. It has no atmosphere, feels hollow, and the courses are repetitive and lack creativity. Forza Horizon but Hot Wheels should have been a slam dunk but this is a huge whiff. My review: www.gamerguides.com/hot-wheels-i...

I will say the Trilogy Edition of FFVII Remake Trilogy is insane value. The first two games for pennies, significantly below their lowest ever sales prices.

Fast forward cutscenes is the least of anyone's problems these days, especially because I have played like a dozen games that already do this. Stalker 2 had it like 2 years ago.

My review is a bit delayed due to my hellish travel. However, it's safe to say it's one of the year's best and a near instant action game classic. Its carefully paced layering of ever deeper combat mechanics results is one of the most satisfying first playthrough experiences for any game.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is ambitious bold, unlike any other AAA RPG thanks to its narrative sandbox vision. It achieves this and offers an addicting, thoughful, but not oppressive time constraint system. It just feels a bit too Witcher 3 at times. My review: www.gamerguides.com/the-blood-of...
