Looking forward to tomorrow's lunch-time seminar @thejohnrylands.bsky.social. Join me and Dr Hannah Yip to discover the Library's extra-illustrated books - unique objects customised by their owners with added illustrations.

Poster for seminar by Hannah Yip and Elizabeth Gow on extra-illustration in the John Rylands Library, to be held at the University of Manchester John Rylands Research Institute and Library, illustrated with the pages of an open book, to which portraits and an engraving of a tortoise have been added.
