Photos of yesterday's solidarity action to prevent Wheatley Homes forcing entry to a disabled tenant's house for an inspection after a request to postpone until he was in better health. Wheatley housing officers and a lock smith arrived but were turned away by the picket.

It's time! We've been gearing up for Book Fringe all month and we're so pleased to be kicking off our 2026 programme TOMORROW! @laylamccay.bsky.social deep dives into queer literature, bringing you all the queer classics and more. It's 45 min, free and it's at lunchtime - what more could you want?
Nic stands inside the shop in front of a whiteboard with all the Book Fringe events. He holds a copy of The Queer Bookshelf in one hand and programmes in the other.A cream backdrop with a photo of Layla wearing purple glasses and a book patterned top. At the top of the banner, it reads "Celebrating Queer Bookshelves with Layla McCay" and there is an image of The Queer Bookshelf: A Reader's Guide. At the bottom left, the text reads "Lighthouse, 12 noon - Friday 14th"
