NEW BALANCE has been an American manufacturing company in Maine for years. Right here in Norridgewock. Their sneakers are now 30% more expensive due to increase in the cost of materials. Why have we not heard a peep from them about these tariffs?

Look, I know there's a lot of talk about manufacturing...and Red States...and shoes. Did you know that New Balance manufacturers sneakers here in Maine? Right here in Norridgewock. And while the 2nd District is Red, the State is Blue so we have some work to do. But NB is made in USA.

2/2 If it is the first are you obeying in advance. As trauma survivor this is how you were taught to survive. This situation is different. Obeying in advance will not protect you so learning how to sit IN your power IS how we win. Waking up from the abuse cycle of these tyrants IS winning.

Can we please stopping the mouth gaping actions of this regime as if they are surprising? It's clear how effed up and uncaring they are. And how much they get off on this fact. We need to focus on shaming them for thinking this way instead of highlighting it. Showcase their little man syndrome.

Those of use trying to manage our feelings around this administration...one thing to keep in mind-our language frames our actions. Speak as if we ARE IN ACTIVE RESISTANCE. Do not speak in the passive victim voice even when you feel that way. Let's win at their game and frame the energy. We will win.

To paraphrase Timothy Snyder's definition of Freedom of Speech. FoS was designed knowing that it's dangerous to speak truth to power. In this light, the protections speak to the risk a less powerful person takes when they take an action against a more powerful person. FoS is being misused by rich.

Who plans on boycotting by not paying their Federal taxes? 👐👍🤜🖕 I'll pay State but not federal as a protest this year.
