#tober2026 - Day 7 Felt burnt out on academics today, so I took some time to do something more creative: worldbuilding. My magic system needs another rework, so I started brainstorming for it. Since I did technically draw it and it was all done in the same day, I consider it to be tober-worthy

First stage brainstorm for how elemental magic might function in my world, consisting of wind, earth, water, fire, ice, and flora. Certain cycles exist to explain interactions between the elements at a rudimentary level.

An adjustment to the initial brainstorm more in line with the original plan for the magic system, where there are two polarities to which elements can align. The alignment and how far something leans in one direction or another determines what it does: for instance, a cozy campfire versus an exploding fireball.

The final, most comprehensive stage of the brainstorm where it’s understood that the four primary elements exist as a result of balance between syntropic (tendency for aether to congregate/stagnate) and entropic (tendency for aether to disperse/move around). This understanding starts to blur what the elements really are, and raises questions as to whether the entire world is really made up of these aetherial elements or if there’s something else at play. Rough idea for now is that aether was actually used to create the physical, but then became subject to some reflected traits of physical things. Subsets of elemental magic are simply alterations or slightly skewed alignment of the base four elements of water, fire, air, and earth.
Elemental magic isn’t the only form of magic in my world, but it is the most prominent and the most misunderstood in the times it was most relevant (I.e. ages of swords and sorcery)

#tober2026 - Day 6 Rushed little doodle of a flower. This week’s shaped up to be even busier than the last, barely even remembered I was trying to keep up with tober after today’s obligations lmao I hope the following week will be less busy, but my schedule’s suggesting otherwise so far :P

#tober2026 - Day 5 Just a few doodles again. I keep forgetting to put them up here since they’re relatively insignificant, lol

#tober2026 - Day 4 This one was a couple of hours late, it was supposed to be a doodle but I got carried away My brother and I played through Big Walk a while back, and I had a lot of fun with the flare guns. lol

A yellow and white Big Walk character fires a yellow flare gun at a distant blue and white character standing on the side of a mountain. The blue one is buried in the explosion of yellow smoke

Hello! Felt like leaving a note considering I haven’t done a lot lately Drawing’s going to be pretty slow for now. Priority goes to university work, and free time will probably be spent mostly on relaxing or playing games with friends. There’s much I still want to draw, and I WILL do so. Slowly, lol

Some super sleepy #sketch work for hair. Trying to work towards getting a design down for another character I haven’t drawn yet. It would probably benefit me to look at more hairstyles lmao

Various sketches of long hair, first on a human head and then adjusted to fit Jack’s wolf-like head

I have so many “nightmare dungeon runs” in XIV, I should start writing them all down For the record, I very much enjoyed these duties where I was OOM on Red Mage, only casting clemency on Paladin, or burning an invuln to phoenix down the healer It’s a unique challenge I happen to find fun lol

Another #Artfight revenge of a character named Lisa, for SK-Spitzkopf. #artfight2026 #furryart #art

A deerfolk named Lisa treading cautiously through the forest in her green garb. A harsh glare is thrown to her side, a blade in one hand and an idle bow in the other. A survivor’s instincts.

#Artfight revenge/friendly-fire for a friend Despite how slow I am this month, I decided to do a bunch of stuff I didn’t know how to do because yes #artfight2026 #teamtragedy #furryart

Forester, a friend’s sona who’s a dragon composed of a forest-themed body, mountain right hand, desert left hand, volcano right leg, tundra left leg, and twin sea tails. Some sand gathers around his left arm, outstretched behind him as he smiles confidently amidst sunlight breaking through a cloudy sky.

Brothers during the good times #art #illustration #furryart

Aboard some form of transportation, brothers Jackson (left, with long hair covering his face with a small patch of blue dyed on the end of the swathe over his right eye) and Christopher (right, with a black cap and business casual wear sporting a watch and belt) have a chat with one another. After all that life can bring, sometimes a moment to just talk with the people close to you is all the blessing you need.

Amaia enjoys gardening and the feel of sunshine #art #illustration #furryart

An anthropomorphic cat with dark brown fur and hair named Amaia, lifting the front of her hat up with a gloved hand. She’s wearing green gardener’s coveralls over a white v-neck shirt and black and white sneakers. Her hair is tied behind her head in a short ponytail to keep it out of the way.

Still can’t draw human faces, but having a mask certainly helps with that problem. Finally decided on a team to pick #ArtFight2026 (still working on the card and updating the info)

Myself wearing a white mask with golden lines beneath the eyes resembling tear streaks. A white robe reminiscent of an amaurotine robe from Final Fantasy XIV is worn. The words “2026,” “Tragedy,” and “Art Fight” are written off to each of the three sides of the head.
