I'm using ChatGPT to learn Ableton and I had to tell it to stop saying weird shit because I'm embarrassed to have to read this.

Hey, friends. I haven't spoke much about this, but I recently attended rehab for profound drugging/anxiety/depression. I'm 100-ish days sober. I'm hitting my first two sober Phish shows at Fenway next week and looking for sober buddies. I have an extra for both nights and would love to miracle you.

I'm sitting here watching Terminator and thinking to myself, "Why don't they just go back and kill John Connor as a child," and then feeling dumb because I just invented Terminator 2

Stormlight didn't land. It will be a great series to read sometime down the (number) line, but not yet. We're going to try The Expanse next, which I'm pretty stoked for! Haven't gotten into some good hard sci-fi in a long time

000

Eli Badra @ebadra.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

The only fantasy I've really read over the past 3-5 years has been Wheel of Time (4 books to go!) My wife and I just started Stormlight Archives and I forgot that a book CAN be evocative and engaging before, like, page 150...or, like, before a stretch of five books in the middle of your series

I can't in good conscience spoil why, but Masaru's Love Journey might have just become my all-time favorite Yakuza substory.

I thought "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee...I'm just kidding, you can talk to me anytime!" was a great joke that I came up with on my own. But it turns out I ripped it off from an old Joe Pera episode I saw without realizing it.

Might be done with Romancing Saga 2 remake. 20 hours in and it's starting to feel kinda samey. Great for a time, but SO MUCH combat and not enough story for me to keep it up.
