“GUYS!” he exclaims happily. “can’t we just get along and #EnjoyAllWrestling?!”

alex and zangief stare at an off screen luke with open disgust in their eyes. hugo ponders to himself with a smile in the background.

“danhausen is funny,” he thinks to himself.

DOPPELGÄNGER: another big comic project for class 🐇 🐐 🐑 #OCart #comic

establishing shot in an office featuring two characters: lake, a small yellow rabbit wearing an off white button up, suspenders, and a dark navy coat on his shoulders. he has a bright pink cast on his right arm and is pouring himself a glass of whiskey with a perturbed expression. across his desk is lyne, a gray goat with pink horns and expressionless yellow eyes. they wear a green turtleneck and dark gray jeans.

lake slams his whiskey on the desk, staring at lyne with an unimpressed expression. “come again?”

lyne pulls out a sealed folder, face unchanging. “i’m pulling the job. it’s over… paid in full, of course.”

lake’s eyes narrow, pointing at lake with his glass in hand. “the HELL it is.”

lyne pushes the folder towards lake, narrowing their eyes. “in. full. plus 10%.”

lake waves his injured arm angrily. “people DIED! i lost fingers. money isn’t going to fix that.”

lyne continues, “the book is gone, lake. it burned with those people.” in smaller text they mutter, “maybe if you were faster…”

lake, suddenly encased in shadow, flings his glass backwards, smashing against the wall. he gets up in lyne’s face, pointing at them in warning.

“don’t you EVER…”

lyne’s expression remains calm.

“… you spilled your drink,” they murmur. “you can be angry all you want, but the reality is…”

lake stalks around his desk towards lyne as they continue speaking.

“… you crossed a line. the wrong people noticed. the wrong people DIED. that’s on you.”

lake’s face is finally visible once again, with a look of despair from lyne’s words.

“all you were supposed to do was pick up a book,” lyne says. “you couldn’t leave well enough alone.”

lyne leans back with their arms crossed, looking down at lake as he slumps back on his desk with his face in his hands. “just couldn’t stop that big brain of yours from chasing one dangling thread to the next.”

lyne stands up and puts a hand on lake’s shoulder, picking up the folder once again. “and while you’re pulling on your threads… you can’t see the whole thing’s unraveling.”

lyne walks towards the frosted glass door where the drink hit, gesturing towards lake with the folder as he takes in their words. “now here you are, naked and afraid. and GUILTY. the money can’t fix the loss.”

they add with a mutter, “… it CAN buy you time, though.”

lyne is cleaning up lake’s mess, picking up glass and placing it in the folder.

“you’ll need time to—“

“… who are the RIGHT people..?” lake interrupts.

lyne’s head whips around, eyes widening in a rare showing of surprise. “what?”

lake lifts his head from his hands, eyes wide as if something has dawned on him. “you said ‘the wrong people died.’ who are the RIGHT people, lyne?”

lyne’s eyes narrow dangerously. “there are no ‘right,’ just… innocent. innocent people died. because you…”

lake gets up in lyne’s face again. “this was never about the book, was it? who were the RIGHT people to die that night?!”

lyne’s expressionless face looks dark. “NO ONE was supposed to die. i don’t even know you were with cartwright…”

lake has a nervous grin on his face, sweating. “… lyne… i never TOLD you i was with cartwright, did i..?”

both lake and lyne are silhouetted, with lyne smashing the folder full of glass in lake’s face. in the background, the frosted door shows a horned figure about to enter.

CRASH! the horned figure smashed through the frosted door. lyne drops a bloodied lake to the ground with a shocked expression.

lake manages to sit up, face covered in blood and glass. he stares in shock as the two figures squaring up to each other. “what the hell is happening?!”

the horned figure is finally revealed— a ram that looks eerily similar to lyne, with gray fur, longer curved pink horns, and small dot eyes with a similar lack of expression. they’re wearing a dirty green jumpsuit and look generally disheveled.

“you’ve been working for this fake for WEEKS!” they say, winding up for a punch. “get up…”

“we gotta go!” they hit the fake lyne with an uppercut that draws blood.

lake and the real lyne both begin to run out of the office, with the fake lyne collapsed behind them.

lake is grinning as he pulls glass out of his face. “… nice punch.”

lyne doesn’t look happy as they run with lake. “YOU’RE getting one, too. for not figuring out it wasn’t me this whole time.”

#OCart #OC species swap

a drawing of 3 original characters in a lineup. on the left is maribelle, an angel that usually wears a white, light yellow and light purple outfit with large billowing sleeves and a massive bell to hold. she has been transformed into a demon, with her outfit completely changing into a black and blue jester outfit. her poke bonnet has been replaced with a large 2 point jester cap, one side being black with a blue tip and the other being blue with a black tip. she has a large white ruffled collar and a split black and blue bodysuit, with thigh high black and blue boots with a heart shaped heel. her sleeves are still the same size, but her signature bell had been replaced by a large flail. she has a uncharacteristically maniacal expression on her face, with blue clown makeup on.

next to maribelle is angel, a human man with a fairly nondescript outfit that consists of a green jacket and a dark tanktop, pants, and boots. he has been transformed to his namesake, now sporting an angelic outfit similar to maribelle’s typical wear. he now has two small wings sprouting from the top of his head alongside one from his forehead that covers his scarred eye, and another pair of wings at his waist. his outfit consists of a purple bodysuit with a yellow trim in the shape of a cross, with a white collar with a bell attached to it and white gloves with yellow cuffs. he wears thigh high stockings with a yellow cross pattern, and purple pumps. although his eyes are usually covered by his pink bunny mask, his expression seems similarly calm.

next to angel is harvey, a clownish demon with long horns and a red and black jester’s outfit and makeup. he has transformed into a human, with his white skin turning a more humanlike pale beige, and his jester outfit is replaced with a dark red turtleneck, high waisted black skinny jeans, and brown dress shoes. his expression is still just as mischievous as his demon form.

angel sits in the foreground, looking incredibly disgruntled. his new wings are fluffed up in aggravation. “why am i still old and fat?” he despairs.

in the background, a demonic maribelle is harassing the now human harvey, who backs off from her with a panicked expression. maribelle swings her flail around with a menacing grin on her face. “i… i’m sorry! i’m sorry for teasing you!” harvey exclaims. “just stay back!!”

VALLEY OF THE DEAD (another comic for class) #OCart #comic

a top down view of a desert with a large, gaping crack in the sand. a bird flies in the air above the rift. zoom in on a small pebble that begins to shake as a loud rumbling sounds from under the ground, only for a massive plume of red smoke to suddenly erupt from the rift. away from the rift, a small walled town sits. the citizens hear and feel the rumbling, looking in the direction of the noise with concerned expressions. at the far edge of the town stands a large watchtower, with a sentry stationed with a telescope. he stares through the scope, seeing the plume of smoke slowly rising into the sky, taking his eye away from the scope with an alarmed expression.

the sentry sounds the watchtower’s horns, blaring throughout the town. pandemonium explodes out in the town, with dozens of people running and shoving each other aside to try to reach shelter. in the far end of the crowd, a mysterious cowboy with a red cape walks in the opposite direction of the crowd. cutting back to the rift in the canyon, a gnarled, rotting green hand bursts out from the rift, revealing a large horde of undead cowboys emerging from the earth towards the town.

back in the panicking town, the cowboy continues towards the walls of the town, pushing past grabbing hands and losing her red cape in the process, revealing that she is missing an arm. as she reaches the town’s wall, the entrance is already opened, with that same red smoke now pouring into the town, with silhouetted figures cloaked within it. she stares at the approaching enemy with a fearful yet determined expression, pulling out a pistol to face the incoming horde that is now bursting through the entrance.

tempo the time mage (and her room!) ⏳🌙☀️ #OCart

a digital drawing of tempo, a short elf-like creature wearing standard wizards garb. she has dark brown skin and light blonde curly hair, and she has bright yellow freckles that form the shape of the big dipper. she has an orange conical hat with blue and white streamers coming out of the top of it. her wizard’s robe is orange with puffy sleeves and pants, with long white fingerless gloves and stockings and simple black shoes. she wears a long blue cape with a white collar that has a small blue star accessory on it. she is holding her main weapon, an oversized gold pocket watch.

tempo stands in her room, located at the top of a clock tower. the tower has a large clock window that lets in moonlight from the night sky outside. the room itself has a blue bed, a small table with papers and an hourglass on it alongside a blue sitting cushion, a small shelf with a metronome and crystal ball, and a hanger bar with two pocket watches, one oversized and one regular sized, hanging off of it. in the corner of the room there is a small closet with a rug that has a sun and moon pattern on it, with several identical orange robes and hats hanging in the closet. tempo herself stands in front of a large hourglass. outside of the room, a large flight of stairs leads downward, with the view opened up to see dozens of large gears and cogs that make up the actual structure of the tower.
