Very excited to play Midnight of the Century. I have a question. Why are encyclopedias a specialist tool when a personal computer is a standard tool, in the mid 90's?

I'll be picking that up tomorrow too!

WIP Mega Balrog for MESBG (Counts as Smaug). It's a Dungeons and Lasers Tarrasque miniature. #mesbg #lotr #balrog #miniature #painting #dungeonsandlasers #dungeons&lasers #wargaming

That duck is stressed and defending it's territory, it isn't playing.

They're 3d prints I picked up online (off etsy I think). Thanks! I'm trying to get a full board of matching terrain done in 2025, something I've previously neglected.

How short is super short? Much as I love a sweaty 8-hour mega session, I dream of 30-minute RPGS

Púkel-men near Dunharrow. Mysterious statues found between Gondor and Rohan resembling the strange Drúedain folk. (More terrain for MESBG) #mesbg #lotr #gamesworkshop #warhammer #terrain #miniatures #gaming #painting

Sounds great, I've been looking for a jousting game. I like the idea of knights behaving almost like WWE wrestlers, with big over the top stage personas and long-term beef.

Custom Beorn miniature, based on some art by Michael Hague and the old Mithril miniatures version. I made the axe and hat. #mesbg #hobbit #lotr #warhammer #miniatures #painting

Funny you should ask. Technically no it's a Tarrasque, but I am planning to paint it in a similar style to a Balrog, and then use it as a placeholder for Smaug.

Yes in retrospect I think it might be best to use magnetic rubber bases and board. Would help with the fiddlyness. I'm using centimetres instead of inches and all other rules remain unchanged. Thanks

How many books is too many to have on the go at once? I think I'm at 6... Though to be fair two of them I'm deliberately only reading one chapter a week, and another is a reference book. #books #donnatart #alanmoore #Tolkien

1. Apathy is a disease. Love the things and people you love intensely and intentionally. 2. Listen more than you talk. 3. Assume positive intent until the opposite is proven to be the case.

In 1938 J.R.R. Tolkien was asked by a German publisher to confirm his aryan heritage before they would publish The Hobbit. He told them to go to Hell, and The Hobbit wasn't published in German till 1957. Tell a Nazi to go to Hell today. #Tolkien
